San Francisco held roughly 1,000 residents in January 1848. Two years later it held 25,000, with wharves, newspapers, banks, and functioning courts, and no government planned any of it. James Marshall pulled gold from the American River at Sutter's Mill on January 24, 1848. California at that moment had no legislature, no land registry, and a military governor commanding a few hundred soldiers who kept deserting to the goldfields. Every textbook predicts Hobbesian chaos. Instead, miners wrote their own law. Each camp held a meeting, set claim sizes, elected a recorder, and enforced the rules themselves. Hundreds of mining district codes emerged independently and converged on the same principles: first use establishes ownership, abandonment forfeits it, disputes go before a jury of fellow miners. Congress found the system so effective it codified it in the Mining Act of 1866. Commerce ran ahead of any charter. Samuel Brannan got rich selling shovels instead of swinging them. Eggs fetched a dollar apiece in 1849, a lot of money for the time, and that price pulled flour and lumber around Cape Horn faster than any ministry of supply ever moved anything. Wells Fargo carried the mail because the Post Office couldn't. Merchants wrote contracts and extended credit with no commercial code on the books. City planners insist order requires their permission. Property law, courts, and trade networks all emerged before any planner arrived: built by profit-seekers under rules they drafted themselves at camp meetings. California's first cities stand as proof that humans can flourish without bureaucracy. The next time a bureaucrat tells you markets collapse without government, ask them who surveyed San Francisco.

So here's the REAL story: Ambassador Stevens was sent to Benghazi to secretly retrieve US made Stinger Missiles that the State Dept had supplied to Ansar al Sharia in Libya WITHOUT Congressional oversight or permission. Sec State Hillary Clinton had brokered the Libya deal through Ambassador Stevens and a Private Arms Dealer named Marc Turi, but some of the shoulder fired Stinger Missiles ended up in Afghanistan where they were used against our own military. On July 25th, 2012, a US Chinook helicopter was downed by one of them. Not destroyed only because the idiot Taliban didn't arm the missile. The helicopter didn't explode, but it had to land and an ordnance team recovered the missile’s serial number which led back to a cache of Stinger Missiles kept in Qatar by the CIA. Obama and Hillary were in full panic mode, so Ambassador Stevens was sent to Benghazi to retrieve the rest of the Stinger Missiles. This was a "do-or-die" mission, which explains the Stand Down Orders given to multiple rescue teams during the siege of the US Embassy. It was the State Dept, NOT the CIA, that supplied the Stinger Missiles to our sworn enemies because Gen. Petraeus at CIA would not approve supplying the deadly missiles due to their potential use against commercial aircraft. So then, Obama threw Gen. Petraeus under the bus when he refused to testify in support of Obama’s phony claim of a “spontaneous uprising caused by a YouTube video that insulted Muslims.” Obama and Hillary committed TREASON! THIS is what the investigation is all about, WHY she had a Private Server, (in order to delete the digital evidence), and WHY Obama, two weeks after the attack, told the UN that the attack was the result of the YouTube video, even though everyone KNEW it was not. Furthermore, the Taliban knew that the administration had aided and abetted the enemy WITHOUT Congressional oversight or permission, so they began pressuring (blackmailing) the Obama Administration to release five Taliban generals being held at Guantanamo. Bowe Bergdahl was just a useful pawn used to cover the release of the Taliban generals. Everyone knew Bergdahl was a traitor but Obama used Bergdahl’s exchange for the five Taliban generals to cover that Obama was being coerced by the Taliban about the unauthorized Stinger Missile deal. So we have a traitor as POTUS that is not only corrupt, but compromised, as well and a Sec of State that is a serial liar, who perjured herself multiple times at the Congressional Hearings on Benghazi. Perhaps this is why no military aircraft were called upon for help in Benghazi: because the administration knew that our enemies had Stinger Missiles that, if used to down those planes, would likely be traced back to the CIA cache in Qatar and then to the State Dept’s illegitimate arms deal in Libya. Forward this again and again and again until everyone reads the true story of Benghazi.

What’s terrifying about this clip isn’t their ideals…these sweet gals’ hearts are certainly in the right place. What’s terrifying is they have the civic, political, and economic literacy of a 9 year old. When a charlatan like Abdul comes along with the Jr High class president schtick of “no more homework and the vending machines are all free!”, they fall for it. I don’t know how you get to that age with ZERO understanding of supply chains, manufacturing, labor costs…but a lot of folks think that medicine and MRIs and hospitals just materialize out of thin air like unicorn farts. They’ve never built anything in their lives, so they have no concept of how things function…things are just…there. They think milk comes from the store. They think rich people don’t pay taxes, even though the top 1% fund 40% of government with their taxes already, and yet 40% of all Americans contribute ZERO federal income tax at all. These people don’t understand that you could tax the wealthy at 100% and it would only fund the government for 120 days. Then you’re screwed. Too many Americans simply have zero understanding of how anything works, and even though they’re living in the easiest times in human history, they think things are “terrible out there”. These commie scammers roll through and promise them things that sound great, but aren’t possible in reality, and have devastating consequences if tried…but because they don’t know anything, they fall for it. Sadly, so many of our politicians and their advisors are such atrocious communicators, there’s like zero countervailing narrative to push back on the commie gobbledygook, so we are gonna have to learn the hard way. Guys…we just had a sample of socialism: Covid. We all got universal basic income, and it ended up tripling our costs and they’ll never go down. Ever. That one brief little experiment in command and control government will haunt us the rest of our lives. Bleak stuff, man.

True Story: In December 1960, a twenty-three-year-old clerk named Armando Valladares sat at his desk at the Postal Savings Bank in Havana, Cuba. The new communist regime had issued a directive requiring every government worker to place a small sign on their desk reading: "I am with Fidel." Armando quietly refused. He stated that he was a Christian, he valued individual freedom, and he would not pledge fealty to a Marxist dictatorship. Within days, political police raided his home, labeled him a counter-revolutionary, and threw him into a courtroom where a military tribunal handed him a thirty-year prison sentence. The regime told him that release was simple. All he had to do was sign a single confession admitting his error, renouncing his faith, and declaring support for the socialist revolution. Sign the paper, and he could walk out to his family. Armando looked his captors in the eye and refused. The consequences were merciless. Guards shoved him into the infamous cells of Isla de Pinos and La Cabaña. They stripped him of his clothing, denied him medical treatment, and locked him in pitch-black solitary confinement boxes called tapadas. When he launched hunger strikes to protest the torture of fellow inmates, guards cut off his food and water entirely. Malnutrition caused severe peripheral neuropathy, paralyzing his legs and binding him to a wheelchair. They broke his body, yet they could never touch his mind. Sitting in total darkness, Armando began writing poetry. Lacking pens and paper, he used toothpicks, cigarette wrappers, and his own blood to write verses detailing the brutal realities of political prisoners. Outside the prison walls, his young wife, Marta, dedicated her life to his cause. Visiting under heavy scrutiny, she quietly smuggled those bloodstained scraps of paper past armed guards, carrying his words to foreign embassies, publishers, and human rights organizations across the free world. For twenty-two years, Armando endured beatings, starvation, and solitary confinement. Every few months, officials brought the same confession document to his cell, promising immediate freedom if he yielded his pen. For twenty-two years, he gave them the exact same answer: to sign away his conscience was a price far greater than death. In 1982, mounting international pressure finally forced the Cuban government to release him. Armando arrived in the United States, gaunt and scarred, carrying the memories of two decades inside a socialist dungeon. He published his memoir, Against All Hope, detailing the atrocities the world had chosen to ignore. The book landed on the desk of President Ronald Reagan. Reagan read the account with tears in his eyes and recognized something rare: an unyielding witness to the cost of human liberty. In 1987, Reagan bypassed the usual circle of career bureaucrats and made a stunning appointment. He named Armando Valladares the United States Ambassador to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights. Months later, the man who had been starved in a Havana isolation cell rolled into the grand assembly halls of Geneva, Switzerland, carrying the diplomatic authority of the United States. Taking his seat across from the very Cuban officials who had overseen his torture, Ambassador Valladares delivered devastating speeches exposing the secret labor camps, the political executions, and the brutality of the Castro regime. He successfully organized an international coalition that forced the United Nations to launch a formal inspection into Cuba’s human rights abuses, delivering a humiliating diplomatic defeat to the dictatorship. Tyrants survive by convincing ordinary citizens that resistance is futile and compliance is safety. Armando Valladares proved that an entire totalitarian empire can be brought to its knees simply because one man refused to put a propaganda sign on his desk. Real sovereignty belongs to those who value their soul more than their comfort.

🚨HERO: An 85-year-old grandfather deliberately sits in his living room to be killed by terrorists—tricking them into thinking the home was empty and saving his hiding family! When armed militants attacked Kibbutz Nahal Oz on October 7, 85-year-old Shlomo Ron—one of the founding members of the community—recognized the mortal danger facing his loved ones as gunfire echoed through the streets. He immediately ordered his wife, two daughters, and grandson into the home's reinforced safe room, refusing their desperate pleas for him to join them inside. Believing that an empty house might invite a detailed search, Shlomo reasoned that if attackers found an elderly man sitting alone in the front room, they would assume no one else was present and leave after taking his life. Shlomo calmly sat in his favorite living room armchair and waited as armed assailants broke through the door. Finding Shlomo alone, the terrorists shot him dead and immediately exited the home without searching the property further, leaving the hidden safe room entirely undiscovered. Because of his deliberate, calculated self-sacrifice, Shlomo’s wife, daughters, and grandson survived the multi-hour siege unharmed—honoring a hero who gave everything so his family could live.

Milton Friedman: “There is an enormous amount of poverty in the world everywhere. There is no system that’s perfect. There’s no system that’s going to eliminate poverty completely. The question is, which system has the greatest chance? Which is the best arrangement for enabling poor people to improve their lot? On that, the evidence of history speaks with a single voice. I do not know any exception to the proposition that if you compare like with like, the freer the system, the better off the ordinary poor people have been.”

Rand Paul reveals Washington spent $4,600,000 of YOUR money to find out whether getting drunk makes you FALL DOWN. Another $3,000,000 went to studying whether eating ants fights global warming. $7,000,000 on a “smart toilet” that photographs your backside. And $2,000,000 to learn if hot tubs help you relax. Rand Paul kept the receipts. It gets dumber: • NIH spent $1,000,000 to help people get over their fear of the dentist. • USAID spent $48,000,000 to help disconnected Tunisian youth cope with modern society. • NIH spent $36,000,000 to find out why stress turns hair gray. • Washington even sent money to Central America to train people on how to apply for U.S. grants. Yes, really. We paid them to get better at taking our money. Not one American with an ounce of common sense would vote to approve a dime of this garbage. The government pisses away billions like this and never stops asking for MORE.

Mia Schem was a Drake fan. She listened to his music, admired him and even received clothing from his brand. Then she heard him say: “Pray for Gaza.” For Mia, those words landed very differently. Mia was shot and kidnapped from the Nova festival on October 7 and dragged into Gaza, where she spent 55 days in Hamas captivity. She says the wife of the man holding her sometimes fed her only once every two or three days, while his children would taunt her with food and then refuse to give it to her. “They treated me like an animal in a cage.” Mia says she initially believed that perhaps the women and children around her would show some humanity. Instead, she says she saw hatred being taught from childhood: “They teach the children from the beginning to hate, to become terrorists and to glorify death.” Her friend Elia Toledano was kidnapped from Nova as well. He never came home alive. So when Mia heard Drake’s message, she says she was shocked. And she had something to say to celebrities who speak so confidently about a reality they have never lived: “People don’t understand anything. They follow what other people say, like sheep.” “I was kidnapped from my country and taken to Gaza. I know how they treated me there.” That is the part Drake and every celebrity turning Gaza into a slogan should hear. Mia does not know Gaza from TikTok, hashtags or celebrity activism. She knows it because she was dragged there wounded, held hostage, starved and tormented. Before preaching to the world about Gaza, listen to the woman who was actually taken there against her will. Her testimony matters more than any celebrity slogan. Credit : Ynet Photo credit : Dana Kopel
