ALT Argentina’s monthly inflation fell from 25.5% in Javier Milei’s first month to 1.7% in August 2026 after the state stopped printing pesos to cover the deficit. Fiscal surplus first. Prices stopped sprinting. That is the libertarian claim in hard numbers. Capitalism here is not a slogan. It is what happens when the printer is taken away. Socialism is the opposite job: keep spending, keep inflation, campaign on the cost of living you just funded. Bernie Sanders is that job in American clothes. More outlays, more committees, more freeze on the builders who would actually grow supply. Milei stopped feeding inflation. Sanders cannot. Cheap prices do not need a senator.
