This Ex Republican voted for Gina and against Bo French. The Republican party has pushed me to being an independent! This is the way all of us should be. Voted for my career and against people that are unfit for office. #GoodPeople on both sides and bad candidates on both sides!

Coach Buchanan knows best: our public schools are in crisis. If we don’t act now, we’ll risk losing Friday night lights in Texas.

You've gotta love that raising the basic allotment for Texas schools is the topic right now on a national townhall on CNN. Little Gov @DanPatrick raised it only a tiny bit last year after Speaker @Burrows4TX bent the knee to him now schools are closing everywhere amid layoffs
As a Republican educator…I encourage EVERY Texas educator to vote for GINA HINOJOSA. For once we need to block vote to protect our profession.

Today, we launched Team Texas Public Schools.
Texas Public Schools are in crisis, so we’re building a movement for Texans who love their public schools and are ready to fight for them. We’ve assembled a toolbox so you can be part of growing this movement.
Whether you’re a parent, a teacher, a student, a school administrator, or just a proud product of Texas public schools, we want to hear from you, and we want to work with you. This is NOT a fundraising effort. It’s bigger. It’s our last best chance to save Texas Public Schools.
Sign up by texting SCHOOLS to 80191.

It is a great day in Texas. The Texas legislature is ending, so they can no longer enact more legislation that takes away freedom and local control! Hopefully there will be no special session!
Anybody who has been in education very long knows these legislatures are not concerned about public education. This is now and has always been about how they can get their hands on public dollars!

PLAYERS: When coaches, teachers, or parents push you or hold you to high standards, it's normally because they want you to be better. They want you to reach your potential. They want you to achieve your goals. Be coachable and appreciate the ways they might be able to help you.

COACHES: Whatever you condone in your program is what you should be prepared to own and accept in your program. Don't be surprised when you get the very things you allow. What you accept, permit, reward, allow, or reinforce in your program becomes your culture.
If you want an effective school you only need to do a couple of things
