‼️ RECRUITS ‼️ Keep this in mind as AAU season heats up.. When I’m scouting, I’m not just paying attention to how many points you’re scoring… I’m watching your warm-up. How serious do you take it? Are you locked in from the second you hit the court before any college coaches have gathered to watch? I’m listening to the team huddles. Are you absorbing feedback & taking direction? Are you coachable? Do you like being challenged? I’m watching your body language, whether your team is winning or getting blown out. Are you hanging your head after every bad possession? Are you staying positive? Are you playing hard until the final whistle blows? I’m watching your interactions on the bench. Are you encouraging your teammates? Are you being a leader? HOW BAD DO YOU WANT AN OFFER? I recommend a lot of hoopers to a lot of college coaches at all levels. But I don’t recommend any athlete who I don’t think is PASSIONATE. MOTIVATED. HUNGRY. STARVINGGGG!!! 👏
