What exactly has he actually done for the city? It’s an absolute shithole - full of beggars + drug addicts, filthy streets + pavements, overflowing bins, the Deansgate cycle lane shambles, Piccadilly Gardens, homeless people, empty tower blocks … humble my almighty backside.

Can you imagine having a magnificent gold-plated civil servant’s or MPs/MEPs pension (or a very generous private corporate one) and then making it your life’s aim to campaign to axe the Triple Lock on the State Pension which millions rely on. You’d have to be quite a piece of work, wouldn’t you?

And they’re going to solve the homeless problem. Will they also be offered a covid jab? A winter cull perhaps?👇
People experiencing homelessness can now get free flu and pneumococcal vaccinations as part of a new NHS programme. Vaccines will be offered through outreach teams, hostels, pop-up clinics and mobile vans. ➡️ england.nhs.uk/2026/10/nhs-p…

You could almost assume there is a globalist plan to reduce the amount of pensioners and old people..ie kill them off ..how so ? Well since my post earlier about the concerted attack on pensioners, I have had contact from other countries ...as far as China were they are implementing mass vaccination programmes and this person said the belief is its a deliberate way of getting rid of old people. In Canada and new zealand I'm told that arch globalist Mark Carney and other political leaders are calling for reduction and scrapping their triplelock. It was quoted that when the lock is gone pensioners lose an average of £26,000 over 15 years, plunging people into poverty. Germany ,Italy and France are reduciing or scrapping support for vulnerable older people. The valuing of older people as a moral and ethical standard is disappearing. Make of it what you will

The government says we don’t have money to fund national defence. Yet it can find £12billion for the welfare of foreigner invaders, £665million for Angola and now £88million for Gaza. There’s a magic money tree out there, just not for the British people.

This would be a good policy. As it is fine for pensioners to survive on £12,500 a year, let's cap all benefits at the same amount. In addition, let's cap the wage of all politicians at the same amount, including local government and civil servants.

If pensioners are going to lose nothing when the triple lock is abolished then how will the government save £600,000,000?

Every single party is begining to attack pensioners again. Despite the paying of 14 billion a year in oversees aid and the 10 billion at least, servicing migrants. No, they go for pensioners, all parties. And now the demonisation is under way, using terms like ' 'boomer slop' and denigrating the people who built this country, struggled and worked hard all their lives. It is not their fault that government squandered the money they put in. Then we have the younger generation actually framing older people as being wealthy. Even restore are proposing getting rid of state pensions, and people like Charlie Downes uses the 'boomer' slur. They think we had it easy ... My God they have no idea what we went through. Rupert Lowe is fully on board with this. This is why I left Restore as a member with a heavy heart. I am partyless. They are all going after elderly people who cannot better their situation, and that sickens me. Labour are about to get rid i of the triple lock ...after freezing people to death, cutting winter fuel. This sickens me. Judge a society on how it treats its elderly, and all of these parties seem intent on attacking them. The young lap it up in ignorance, blaming those who have given their all, for their own failings. I personally, will not support a party that is going to make vulnerable people poorer, when their are many other ways of saving billions. Its despicable. @RupertLowe10

Andy Burnham just increased the foreign aid budget to £21 billion a year. That’s money we don’t have that we have to borrow to give to other people Yesterday, the interest rate on long-term British debt hit 6% That means the daily repayments on just one year of foreign aid is £3,452,000 PER DAY

Do you know what I'm sick of people trying to justify tampering with pensions telling me that it will still go up when it in real terms it won't, go after the fucking tax dodgers and COVID fraudsters, go after the Panama papers people, go after the profiteering corporations!

It’s pretty simple. People who’re all for getting rid of the Triple lock are comfortably off, so it doesn’t really bother them. They know they’ll never be anywhere near relying on it. Either that, they’re young and don’t see that they’re impoverishing their old age.

This generation of Pensioners, many who worked and paid income tax and full National Insurance for over 40 odd years. Including the WASPI Women, are working up to 8 years over expected retirement age. What more do Governments want from us? Keep the #triplelock

I ran the actual calculations on Andy Burnham's plan to tamper with the triple lock, and the data reveals an outright 7 percent stealth cut to the state pension. Under Burnham's formula, British retirees would lose over 17 pounds every single week, dragging the basic pension down to 171.80 pounds and the new pension down to 224 pounds. Labour always manages to find billions of pounds to fund foreign aid and house unvetted arrivals, yet they demand our elderly citizens take a financial hit after forty years of hard graft. Why should British pensioners be pushed into cold poverty just to bail out a Prime Minister who refuses to cut state waste?

The full State Pension is £241.30 a week, or about £12,548 a year. Each illegal immigrant costs us an average of £40,000 per year. That means we are spending more than three times as much on a gimmigrant than we are on a person who has lived here and contributed to the country their whole life.

The personal allowance has been stuck at £12,570 since 2021. And it’s staying there until 2031. If it had kept up with inflation, it would be around £17,470. The 40% tax threshold would be around £70k instead of £50,270. Your salary goes up. The tax-free allowance doesn’t. That’s how you get a tax rise without announcing a tax rise.

The Full New State Pension- the most anyone can get - is £241.30 a week. The basic State Pension is £184.90 a week. And we’ve had people campaigning all year and beyond for the rate of increase in the state pension to be lowered because they thought the rate of increase was ‘too generous’ . You really couldn’t make it up, could you?

This is absolutely Disgusting 😡 It cost the British taxpayer between £39000 to £41000 per year for each illegal migrant. Our Pensioners receive a miserly £12.500 each per year to survive. JUST LET THAT SINK IN…
