My friend is getting married to a man TEN YEARS younger than her, and the whole world seems to have an opinion. His parents are against it. Her friends are against it. Now, the pressure is so much that they’re considering relocating. 💔
They’re in love, they’re happy, and I see nothing in the Bible that says a woman cannot marry a younger man.
I believe parents should offer guidance, not turn their children’s love lives into a battlefield. If they’re both consenting adults and genuinely ready for marriage, shouldn’t that matter? Love is beautiful why make it so difficult?
Honestly, I’m fully supporting my friend. If they’re both consenting adults, love each other, and are ready to build a life together, I think they should go ahead and get married, whether the families approve or not.
Am I wrong for standing firmly behind her on this? What do you think?
