नेपाल प्रहरीले एकपछि अर्को समाचार–कक्षमा छिरेर जसरी पत्रकारहरुलाई धरपकड गरेको छ, यो विद्यमान कानुन र संविधानको सरासर बर्खिलाफ छ । यो कदमले लोकतान्त्रिक हक–अधिकार कुण्ठित गर्न खोजेको देखिन्छ ।
प्रधानमन्त्री कार्यालयले यो घट्नामा आफ्नो संलग्नता र जानकारी नरहेको भनेर मात्र पुग्दैन । कुनै पनि सरकारी निकायले चाल्ने कदम स्वतः सरकारको जिम्मेवारीभित्र पर्न आउँछ । त्यसैले यसबाट सरकार पन्छिन मिल्दैन ।
यदि यसप्रति प्रधानमन्त्री कार्यालय या गृह मन्त्रालयको साँच्चै असहमति हो भने यो निर्णय कसले, किन, कुन नियतले लिएको हो, सम्बन्धित अधिकारीलाई अविलम्ब कार्वाहीको दायरामा ल्याउनुपर्छ । नत्र त मुलुकमा द्वैध शासन पन्पनाउन थालेको रुपमा हामीले बुझ्नुपर्ने हुन्छ ।

भुटानमा एउटा हिमताल विस्फोट हुँदा ठूलो बाढी आएको र त्यसबाट भौतिक संरचनामा क्षति पुगेको विभिन्न सञ्चारमाध्यमले जनाएका छन्।
भुटानी सरकारी प्रसारक बीबीएसका अनुसार उक्त घटनामा कोही हताहत भएको जानकारी भने प्राप्त भएको छैन।
शिन्टाफु हिमताल विस्फोट भएपछि त्यहाँबाट झन्डै ७४ लाख क्यूबिक मिटर पानी मो नदीमा पुगेको आकलन गरिएको छ।
बिहीवार रातिको उक्त घटनापछि छिमेकी देश भारतको पश्चिम बङ्गालमा पनि बाढी आउन सक्ने चेतावनी जारी गरिएको थियो।
‘द हिन्दू’का अनुसार सङ्कोश नदी र त्यसका सहायक नदीका किनारबाट मानिसहरूलाई सुरक्षित स्थानतिर सारिएको थियो।
भुटानी सञ्चारमाध्यमका अनुसार बाढीले केही पुल र सडक बगाएको छ।
भुटानी प्रधानमन्त्रीको कार्यालयका अनुसार टाक्ट्सी मखाङमा नदी थुनिएपछि प्रधानमन्त्रीले त्यहाँको स्थलगत निरीक्षण गरेका छन्।
बीबीएसका अनुसार उक्त स्थानभन्दा तल नदीको किनारमा भएका मानिसहरूलाई सतर्क रहन र सुरक्षाका उपाय अवलम्बन गर्न सूचित गरिएको छ।

Flash floodwaters in Bhutan have partially damaged the Solar Irrigation Lifting System in the Dochhukha-Dzomlingthang-Ritsa Chiwog area of Punakha. The solar-powered system, installed earlier this year to address local irrigation challenges, has stopped functioning, though the full extent of the damage is yet to be assessed. Flood-borne debris has also affected a stretch of the Punakha-Gasa Highway in Dzomlingthang. No casualties have been reported.

A glacier lake outburst flood (GLOF) which has originated from the Sintaphu lake at Mochu subbasin Gasa has been reported.
The NCHM is currently monitoring the water level along the Mochu river at Tashithang. India has been informed.
