You can make an argument for Glosette and Dairy Milk I suppose but it’s pretty clearly Coffee Crisp, Caramilk and Crispy Crunch. Everything else is bordering on trash.
You can only choose 3...which of these Canadian candy treats are you keeping? 🍫🍁🍬

I continue to be baffled around the timing of this publicly stated request when the guy is going to be a UFA this summer. You can write your own ticket anywhere then, you couldn’t just play out this season and maybe Tampa deals you at the deadline anyways knowing you are leaving?
Agent Dan Milstein confirming that his client Nikita Kucherov is playing today and moving forward while awaiting his situation to get resolved: “Of course,” said Milstein. “He loves playing hockey. He will play while I will take care of the business side going forward.”

As I've said before, the idea behind "void the clause if you ask for a trade" is stupid because players will find a way to force a trade without officially asking if that's the case. The solution is to make NTC's unable to be waived, watch how rare they become then.
Yall…I have a crazy idea: if you’re a general manager don’t be a fucking idiot and give out a no move clause thinking someone won’t use it

Same thing goes with partial NTC's. Whenever that team list is submitted each summer, it's final for the year. No one can waive it for any of those teams. The clause doesn't become about trade control anymore, it's an actual lever to adhere to contract terms for both parties.

The problem right now is that teams always want the right to get free from the contract they agreed to when they aren't comfortable with it but don't want the player to be able to do the same. If you both agree to the clause, then both of you should adhere to it.

I assume this isn't in-person if it's today which means it's probably 1-2 games.
Ottawa’s Hayden Hodgson will have a hearing today for boarding/charging Los Angeles’ Brandt Clarke.

I'm sure many will disagree but while Hodgson's hit was definitely worthy of a major and getting booted from the game, I'm not sure I would apply much more in the way of supplementary discipline given what the bar typically is for those types of infractions.

If he gets a big suspension, I'm not going to be up in arms about it because he's an easy target and it was a meathead play but I've seen a lot worse get a lot less in the way of supplementary discipline.

This shit is worse and more dangerous and the league seems to be fine with that. So not sure where the line is supposed to be other then "he skated a long way for the hit so now it's a problem." nitter.cf/SnarkMessier/status/21…

Was thinking about a potential Zub contract extension and realized this is his 7th year on the team (time flies!). Zub’s already 7th all-time in franchise Games Played by a d-man and should move into the Top 5 later this season behind only Phillips, Redden, Karlsson and Chabot.

First game of the season with Sanderson, Chabot and Zub in the lineup together. What a time to be alive...

The Sens have had horrible luck in the past couple years with waiver claims. Sebrango, Merilainen and Crotty are all players that historically typically should have cleared when they went down. I don't think it hurts them significantly, just more annoying than anything else.

The Sens not even bothering with Ersson anymore is a pretty wild development.

I never really understand this stance. Obviously it's harder to get good roster players from a contender that Larkin wants to go to so the solution is to negotiate with a rebuilding team that wants futures for their good roster players and flip the futures you get.
Clearly CAA and Larkin feel like there are trades with teams on his 10 team list that have been close and could have been finalized. Hence, they apply pressure. Detroit doesn’t appear interested in a futures driven return and can’t make a bad trade. The Wings need a decent player or two for Larkin.

I don't know why these situations aren't almost immediately transitioned to "3 team deals" because that solves everyone's issues. Trying to squeeze really good forwards from a team who is looking to get your really good forward is basically a non-starter.

I hate to keep using the Tkachuk trade as an example but this is clearly the problem Staios faced, they were trying to get Lundell from the Panthers in the deal and Florida wasn't budging. Maximize the futures and concurrently ensure you can use them to acquire a body you like.

If you swapped out for the peace tower logo, this jersey would be perfect. The centurion logo looks really out of place on this particular layout.
Love the 2D logo, but with all these RRs and remix jerseys, such a missed opportunity to take advantage of our jersey history.

Ah, I see the thing we've been talking about for more than a month is now a problem for mainstream media because it's affecting the Leafs.

Now that the decision has been made on Hodgson as the extra F on the roster for the foreseeable future, the upcoming question is going to be on Crotty once Chabot returns. Assuming no new injuries, they’d be carrying 8 healthy D. Crotty needs waivers to be sent down.

The Crotty decision won’t be forced on them as they do have the ability to carry 8 D currently but it’s more about whether they want him to play at all because he’d just be sitting around in the press box waiting for multiple injuries if they don’t send him to the AHL.
