Shameless self-promotion - an article by a participant who attended my Austria retreat in 2026. Spoiler alert: he had a good time.

"Be kinder to yourself. And then let your kindness flood the world."

I should have asked him to elaborate on this when I had the chance. All we did was talk about boring ol' emptiness and dependent origination. sigh. Alas!
Proud to be part of this lineage. My parameshti guru in Advaita Vedanta. Swami Chinmayananda was a lion among teachers. A powerful orator and an embodiment of wisdom.
IMHO, no one stands above him as an expounder of Vedanta.

To me, one of the clearest pointing out instructions. Cliffnotes version below:
You are the sky, not the traffic:
• Thoughts are just noise; awareness is the open space.
• Look back at the one who is looking; notice the gap.
• Stop striving. Rest in the luminous presence that is already here.
All philosophies are mental fabrications. There has never been a single doctrine by which one could enter the true essence of things.

He told a story about a young jhooner tech bro approaching him to talk about @jhanatech
His was clear in his response:
"one of the most ridiculous bs he has heard of "
