#HappeningNow NAFDAC has uncovered a suspected counterfeit production facility at Zamfara Plaza, BBA Trade Fair Complex, Lagos State. Two suspects were arrested at the scene while allegedly revalidating energy drinks and popular wine and whisky brands. More details to follow shortly.

As we predicted yesterday, the Nigerian Presidency (@officialABAT) has launched another smear campaign against Dr. Von Batten. This time, the attack is coming from President Tinubu’s High Commissioner designate to South Africa (@GovernmentZA), Femi Fani-Kayode (@realFFK). I spoke with Dr. Von Batten a few minutes ago, and he had never heard of this individual before today. He was surprised to learn that, like some of the other high-ranking Nigerian officials who have attacked and slandered him, Mr. Fani-Kayode himself once publicly accused President #Tinubu of involvement in drug trafficking. Given the unsolicited $3 million offer made to Dr. Von Batten by an individual whom an internet search indicates is a dedicated member of @OfficialAPCNg, and given that individuals who once called President #Tinubu a #drug trafficker later changed their positions and received senior government appointments, we are left to question whether money, appointments, political considerations, or something else explains these dramatic changes of heart. For the record, Dr. Von Batten refused the $3 million offer. Regardless, the firm’s position is that Mr. Fani-Kayode is irrelevant, and we have advised Dr. Von Batten not to respond to him. Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (@officialABAT) is so afraid of our work concerning the @FBI’s allegations that he was part of a group that smuggled #heroin from Nigeria into the United States during the 1980s and 1990s, that Dr. Von Batten is basically living rent-free in his head. First, it was President #Tinubu’s spokesperson who attacked us. Then his official adviser (@aonanuga1956) Now it is the Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation (@fkeyamo). We fully expect the next high-ranking Nigerian official to attack us will be Nigerian Vice President @officialSKSM. Nigerians should ask themselves: Why is the entire Nigerian government afraid of one man named Dr. Karl Von Batten? The Nigerian Presidency is so afraid that it originally lied and claimed that Dr. Von Batten was never appointed by President @realDonaldTrump to a @WhiteHouse Commission. Then everyone in the Nigerian Presidency began calling the White House nonstop until the White House confirmed that President #Trump had indeed appointed Dr. Von Batten to the Commission on Presidential Scholars. Now that the Presidency’s lie has collapsed, like children throwing a tantrum, they have seized on the fact that we deleted the appointment announcement. For the record, we deleted the post after the White House informed Dr. Von Batten that the “silly” Nigerian government was repeatedly calling and "whining" about the appointment. Key word: whining. It was never our intention for the Nigerian government to inundate the White House with phone calls. We have made it clear to members of the #Trump Administration and Congress that Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (@OfficialABAT) is actively working to rig the upcoming Nigerian presidential election. From @inecnigeria’s attempt to purge opposition party candidates to using the Nigerian judiciary to intimidate them, the evidence is undisputed. The latest attempt by President Tinubu and his associates is to use Nigerian law enforcement (@officialEFCC) to eliminate political opponents. An individual connected to President Tinubu’s @OfficialAPCNg has given the EFCC the extraordinary ultimatum of 14 days to arrest opposing presidential candidate @atiku Abubakar. The @StateDept is monitoring the Nigerian election process. Nevertheless, we plan to brief them and Congress on this latest attempt by #Tinubu to use the EFCC to rig the election. Throughout the day, we have been engaging with senior members of the @realDonaldTrump Administration and Congress, and our message has been clear: President Bola Tinubu’s (@officialABAT) alleged heroin trafficking is a #liability to the United States and to the peace and stability of Nigeria and the region as a whole. This stands in stark contrast to former Nigerian Vice President @atiku Abubakar, who is a statesman and, more importantly, unlike President #Tinubu, there is no U.S. government document in which Atiku is accused of drug trafficking or any other crime. Nigerians are God-fearing people who value life and family, and Atiku is an embodiment of these strong values. The United States cannot afford to repeat the mistakes of the @JoeBiden Administration that contributed to coups in Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso. Nigeria is simply too important.
