Before colonization, African societies fought wars against one another, just as societies in other parts of the world did.
However, colonialism fundamentally transformed the nature and scale of conflict in Africa.
Before colonization, many African societies fought with weapons such as swords, spears, knives, bows and arrows, although military technology varied across regions.
Colonialism introduced or expanded access to firearms, machine guns, artillery and explosives, making warfare increasingly destructive.
Colonial powers also forcefully brought different ethnic groups and communities under artificial borders, sometimes placing historically rival groups within the same political entity while dividing others across different territories.
Beyond introducing more destructive weapons, colonial powers exploited existing divisions, imposed systems of domination, and created political and economic structures that shaped subsequent conflicts.
In some cases, these divisions and the military systems inherited from colonial rule contributed to devastating postcolonial wars.
Therefore, while precolonial Africa was not free from warfare, colonialism transformed the political, military and social conditions under which many African conflicts occurred.
Africans fought wars before colonialism, but colonialism introduced new forms of domination, transformed the means of warfare, and helped create conditions in which conflicts could become far more destructive.
A March 2026 UN resolution called the transatlantic trade the “gravest crime against humanity”.
If slavery is the gravest, then colonialism is the second gravest crime against humanity.

Anyone still believing all he says is just foolish.
Imagine how costly living would be in the Europe and America when they can no longer buy raw materials at cheap fixed prices anymore from Africa.
Use France as an example - because three sahel states expelled them, they could no longer afford to fund education like before.
APC supporters too mumu...
I did a quick check and this man doesn't belong to any political party..

Nobody is above the law.
OPERATION HADIN KAI IS LEAVING NO ROOM FOR TERRORIST ENABLERS 🔥🔥
Yobe based politician Alhaji Wakiil Goni Mama, popularly known as Mai Salati, has reportedly been arrested over alleged terrorism logistics support and an attempt to secure the release of suspects linked to terrorist logistics.
The troops rejected the alleged inducement and made the arrest. He and the other suspects have been moved to Maiduguri for further investigation.
Nobody is above the law. Zero tolerance for terrorists and their enablers, regardless of status or political affiliation.
God bless our gallant troops! 🫡🇳🇬🔥
The international system is brutal.
The wealth, affordable cost of living and good standard of living in the Global North is gotten from the exploitation of the global South.

The Aid is part of what is making Africa poor.

Africa has received more than $2.6 trillion in foreign aid since 1960.
Bad government is the reason why he's entertaining people the age of his grand parents abroad..
