Only five players have more assists than Anderson so far. He was one of several excellent signings in a brilliant window that is one of the main reasons for Forest currently being 3rd (THIRD) in the league. It was a difficult to understand because you didn't even try. #nffc

And somehow this gets rated as the best window?! Maybe Arsenal's worst in about 5 years and a big factor in why they look so much weaker this time round.

Just the eight games required this season for #NFFC to beat the #DCFCfans "Worst Team In History" record. Always a good benchmark/reminder of how shite #DCFC were that season, and how they will always be remembered by wider footballing world. #shite

Sad to see MGP go like this, I thought he’d win the whole thing. But putting him up against another one of the favourites is a smart move and a necessity after a certain weirdo decided to get involved.

Thank god for that. Faith in the #Barclaysmen poll restored. Krancjar is surely a semi-finalist at least with a good draw.

This is slightly concerning. Rodallega felt like a potential quarter/semi-finalist to me. Zamora has too much of the Coca-Cola/SkyBet about him, especially given his most iconic moment is a playoff final goal.

Hi @FootballCliches, on last week’s pod, @D_C_W makes reference to Deeney’s goal ‘almost [mirroring] the final day’. He says this is about Donny vs Brentford but I’ve always assumed this was in reference to Leicester’s own last minute goal at Forest to get in the playoffs.

Donny's goal is more similar because of the missed pen but it's odd that a commentator would compare to a goal from another league. The ‘final day’ in the Champ is forgotten about but was also dramatic - Forest needed to win but Leicester broke away and won it in the last minute.

To top it all off, it's Knockaert who scores that goal vs. Forest, so this seems more like a 'mirroring' than the Donny/Brentford game. Sorry for rambling on, I was just struck by Dave's comment as I'd never considered that perspective. Maybe only Bill Leslie will know the truth.

This is great to see and I totally agree. Lots of very angry people don’t like it but I’d love to know which player has had a bigger ‘impact’ on his team than MGW. 5 goals and 7 assists in a struggling team - he was the difference between relegation and survival for #nffc
