The Royal Family is emblematic of the thoroughly deceitful society we have to endure. The ridiculous uniforms. The presumptions . The expectation that we will kowtow. And our politicians have lost any understanding of what truth is. We seek to explain our decline as a nation, most of which was kicked off by the triumph of the liars and the Little Englanders in 2016. But the truth is that fundamental change is beyond us. And so we muddle on with marching bands and sentimentality.
