Hey #MedTwitter! My name is Kenneth Terry II, OMS4 @VCOMAuburn. I’m super excited to apply #Psychiatry this #Match2023. I’m passionate about outpatient medical management and addiction medicine. Please help me make my dream, a reality. @Inside_TheMatch @APApsychiatric @DOResMatch
This weekend, I had the opportunity through SNMA to bring undergrad students from my alma mater, Alabama State University 🐝, as well as Auburn University to our campus to expose them to VCOM and osteopathic medicine. Super grateful for this event and our school for hosting them!
This is my second year seeing MS4s upload their headshots and declaring what speciality they will be applying to and I’m in awe. Can’t believe that’ll be me in ~ 2 1/2 years. 😅
SOAP notes are the bane of my existence. I have no idea how to type so much info in a such a short amount of time.
Finished the last exam of Block 3 (Neuro 🤮) today. Super excited to finally have a break and go home to see family!
Although I’m a first year, #DNRTulane has me extremely worried about my future as a black physician. We can be 10Xs as great as our counterparts and still end up with nothing to show for it.
I can’t believe that we are in Block 3 already! Super excited but a little worried because it’s Neuro 😅. If anyone has study tips, send them my way!
I finished my first block of medical school today! Super grateful. There was a time where I thought I wasn’t disciplined, or dare I say, smart enough to go to medical school and look at me now! 🙌🏾
I find so much inspiration from my fellow med students. I’m hoping and praying that I am as successful as you guys as I matriculate through medical school!
Going into my second week of in-person classes of medical school and although it is hard, I am so grateful to be in the position that I’m in. 💪🏾#FirstGen
