Last summer, I quit my job.
My wife and I emptied our bank account.
I went out and bought two CNC mills to start a putter company - @HannaGolfCo.
I was planning on launching the company in February. It couldn't be that hard, right?
Well, I had never operated a CNC mill before. I'd never used CAD or CAM before.
It's been the hardest year of my professional career—hard as hell. I've thought about quitting and selling my machines multiple times.
But I am a grinder and underdog. I can't quit. I had to see it through.
So today, I am launching Hanna Golf. A boutique putter maker.
Putters designed by me and milled by me. Built by an underdog for the underdog.
Why putters?
I've been looking for the putter I used in college every year since I graduated. I can never find it.
So a couple of years ago, I sketched a design, had my brother-in-law design it in CAD, and had a friend mill it for me.
I loved that project. I loved creating and building something.
And we are only on this earth one time. Life is short. Let's give it a run.
I am proud of how far I've come. For a guy that sat behind a desk his whole career to teaching myself how to operate a CNC mill has been rewarding.
We have three designs right now; a fourth is prototyped. The putters are good. And they will continue to get better.
Shout out to everyone who has followed my journey so far. It's crazy to me that people read my writing.
I am humbled and grateful.
The newsletter will continue, and we will add another chapter for Hanna Golf.
Check out the putters below!

Crashed one of the mills this morning.
Absolutely floors me. It’s like 4 putting for bogey on a Par 5.
Have to be better. Will get another crack at it tomorrow.
We are giving away a Brushed Battleship finish @HannaGolfCo putter.

I think this will end up being our most popular finish. Have had several orders over the last few days switch to it!
Back to the lab.
Let it fly.

Joel is awesome.
He’s gone out of his way to help @HannaGolfCo the last two years.
Still pretty surreal we have a putter on the PGA Tour. Started this thing out of my garage a couple years ago. No marketing, no money to pay people to play our putters. Nothing but a little grit.
To the moon.

What a tap in from Joel with the @HannaGolfCo flat stick.

Pretty pumped for what we have coming the next couple of months @HannaGolfCo.
First stop. Center shaft.
Coming soon.
I love this finish.
303 is a little more complicated to do this finish vs carbon steel.
Have to etch it to open the pores of metal. Then have to force the pores closed.
Anyway. Finish has a ton of character. Great to look down at.
