Jey Uso and Sami Zayn both became world champions and LA Knight never did and probably never will. That’s the major reason I’ve moved further and further away from WWE.

🚨 WE NEED TO HAVE AN UNCOMFORTABLE CONVERSATION ABOUT KELSEY MITCHELL🚨 People keep asking, “What will Indiana do if Kelsey leaves?” My question is: what exactly are you afraid of losing besides scoring? For SIX straight seasons, Kelsey Mitchell has been an extremely high volume shooter for the Indiana Fever. Her FGA since 2021 2021 — 492 2022 — 447 2023 — 555 2024 — 602 2025 — 691 2026 — 748 And those last two numbers didn’t just lead Indiana. SHE LED THE ENTIRE WNBA IN SHOT ATTEMPTS IN 2025 AND 2026. Of course she’s going to score a lot of points. She takes a TON of shots. But basketball isn’t just scoring. Over those six seasons, Mitchell has averaged only 2.5, 4.2, 3.1, 1.8, 3.4 and 2.8 assists per game. In 2026 she averaged: 24.7 PPG 17.0 FGA 2.8 APG 1.7 RPG So when we’re evaluating her value, why are we pretending she’s an elite all-around guard? She’s an elite SCORER. There’s a difference. She isn’t your primary facilitator. She doesn’t rebound at a high level. And I’m not building my argument for keeping her around her defensive impact either. That’s why I don’t understand the panic when people talk about Indiana potentially losing her. If you’re taking more shots than anybody in the WNBA, scoring SHOULD be the thing you give me. The real question is👇🏽👇🏽 When the shots aren’t falling, what else does Kelsey Mitchell consistently give the Indiana Fever that makes her supposedly irreplaceable? Because THAT is the conversation nobody wants to have.🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

Rewatching @BetterCallSaul for the first time in a long while. After season 1 I am convinced it’s the most underrated show ever. The acting and storyline are phenomenal. It’s criminal how this show is treated.

At the airport, watching a dad with his probably seven-month-old. He has her in the air, shifting her around mechanically, like a robot. She’s kicking her legs and squealing. Mom comes back from the bathroom and immediately straps the baby to her chest. She leans in and snuggles. Nobody tells Dad to engage in stimulating play with his child. Nobody tells Mom to pull her close and soothe her. They interact with the same child differently because men and women are different. Children don't need two adults tossing them in the air. They don't need two parents soothing and comforting them. All stimulation and no security leaves them unmoored; all comfort and no challenge leaves them afraid to venture out. Children need one parent who promotes attachment and one parent who promotes independence. Children need a mother and a father. A culture that treats either one as optional asks children to go without so adults can feel affirmed.

This will be controversial, but it is time to reinstate the Mc Carran-Walter Act of 1952 FORBIDDING Muslims from holding public office in America!

Whenever I read about the 9/11 jumpers, I always recall this David Foster Wallace passage. None of us can possibly fathom what they experienced or the choice they had to make.
Fire Chief Joseph Pfeifer, in the North Tower Lobby, is distressed by the large number of jumpers he has seen. He attempts to make an address over the building’s public address system: “Please stop jumping. We are coming up to help you.” But the lines are cut and his voice cannot be heard.
