No screen game at all, no draws, not seeing a ton of chips to help, sidelining the run game, weirdly opting for empty sets…we aren’t helping Walker or Bryce much here tonight @1PantherPlace
“Future you” day at Pre-K for our 4 year old, so he obviously wanted to be a @CharlotteFC player

Brandon Miller becomes the second-fastest player in NBA history to get to 500 three-pointers, only behind Duncan Robinson. Fastest in Hornets history, but it will be interesting to see how quickly Kon can get there. Miller also got the steal and dunk on the next possession.

In his 170th career appearance, @hornets guard Brandon Miller has now reached 500 career 3PM in the second-fewest games in NBA history (D. Robinson, 152 games).

Miller trying to put together a Kemba-level crossover mixtape in this game.
Whew, PhD level stuff here 😂
Stopping tirzepatide usually brings much of the weight back. In the trial that tested this, people who had lost about 21% of their body weight and then switched to placebo gained 14% back over the next year, while those who stayed on the drug kept losing.
The drug works well while a person takes it, but the appetite it controls returns when it stops. I think the time to build the habits that hold the weight, like eating fewer carbs and lifting to protect muscle, is while the drug is still working.
Anyone starting a GLP-1 should have a long-term plan with their doctor from the beginning.

KETO-CTA author group on a historic gaslighting run.
Impressive amount of spin and obfuscation.
Data is good, it's bad, it's not us, them, the only reason, new data, independent, unblinded, correlation, misdirection. 😵💫
To follow up on the Aloko discussion on @Topbin90 podcast, do y’all see him finding his way into a top 5 league within the next 2 years? Feel like his game would translate well to Bundesliga or Ligue 1 next year @Jorge_Gonz20 @BAMaurerMedia @itscalebadams
I can't believe it but @CharlesSchwab is following @Fidelity down the morally bankrupt path of charging retail investors insane fees to trade ETFs.
Instead of $100 it's going to be $50.
So maybe they're 1/2 as evil?
"Yes we're screwing over our own customers but at least we're not as bad as @Fidelity!"
Would be embarrassed to work at either shop.
Gross.
🤣
You jog 4 miles every morning and your waistline hasn't improved at all. You've destroyed your knees for nothing.
Of all the ways to exercise, the light jog is one of the worst. Your ancestors walked most of the day and ran all out when they had to go after prey, or run away from a threat, or toward a child in danger. They didn't jog.
Walk. Sprint. Skip the middle.
Good eyes, already driving downhill as Mckee’s hands separate…my goodness this kid puts in some good reps @1PantherPlace @DuncOnDemand h/t @djdotmp4

Should we offer continuous glucose monitors (CGM) to patients with type 2 diabetes who aren't on insulin? A recent NEJM published. tldr; YES.
CONNECT (Oser et al., NEJM 2026) randomized 283 adults with HbA1c of 7.5% (58 mmol/mol) or higher at 22 US primary care practices. Both groups had six visits in 26 weeks, and a trial clinician reviewed glucose data and adjusted treatment at each one.
📊 HbA1c difference -0.9 points (95% CI -1.1 to -0.6), or -10 mmol/mol
📈 HbA1c below 7% (53 mmol/mol) in 46% with CGM vs 24% with usual care
📊 Glucose-lowering drugs were added in 31% vs 17%, mostly GLP-1 agonists
❌ Weight change did not differ (-2.5 vs -1.8 kg)
📊 Exploratory subgroups showed -2.1 points at HbA1c 10% (86 mmol/mol) or higher and -0.3 at 7.0 to 7.9%, with an interval crossing zero
🟢 No severe hypoglycemia, and 3 minor sensor-related bleeds
The case is strongest for patients well above target who also get planned follow-up.
