BREAKING: Hegseth forced the Pentagon's chief planner, Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia, to take at least 3 Polygraph lie detector tests in a leak investigation before abruptly firing him last week, per The Atlantic. Sylvia failed the tests, which were related to disclosures of severe munitions shortages from the Iran war and White House discussions about them, US officials said, indicating the shortages had reached the highest levels of planning. Pentagon officials believe Hegseth is using the firing to weaken the Joint Staff, which reports to Caine, as Trump decides who to blame for the war. Hegseth has fired or forced out more than two dozen generals and admirals.
