Reform UK Councillor Matthew Lambert lies about being a British Army Veteran
Wigan Councillor @MatthewLambertX stated on Facebook yesterday that he was an army veteran and had done 2 tours of South Armagh. This is a lie, he has not served in the Armed Forces.
@wigancouncil need to investigate what is a serious lie by their councillor.
This is a clear breach of the Wigan Council code of conduct: Section 7: Disrepute.
However it’s worse, because he’s claiming that @LisaNandy MP voted for the Northern Ireland Troubles Bill. The official division record shows Lisa Nandy voted against the Bill at Third Reading.
