Widely acknowledged: chldn's MH is suffering. Ask any of them why. 1st thing out of their mouths... missing friends...want to socialise/play.

=less oppty for social int'n =sustained MH diffics

70 yrs ago Maslow established: to learn, chldn 1st need phys & emo'l security. School work in summer hols will build resentment & counter the aim in those who most need support. Emo'l recovery this summer, not school work PLEASE. 🙏

"Due to circumstances beyond yr control, u haven't been able to work as usual for 3m. Yr going to have to cancel your summer hol to catch up." Not ok in the workplace. Not ok for school children either. They are not political pawns.
