Today’s visit to @NatGeoMuseum humbled me as a single human in this great, big, colorful world. And thank goodness for the fearless @NatGeo storytellers and explorers who have brought this world to us, in the middle of the city. A refreshing perspective.
Great to meet again, @DamonMacWilson. Democracy is strongest when we work together. The EU values @NEDemocracy's support for independent media, civil society & democratic resilience. And of course, we have strategic interest in Ukraine & Moldova's resistance to Putin’s terror.
Great to meet with @SenatorRicketts ahead of my visit to his home state of Nebraska next week. I thanked him for his support of the Lindsey Graham Sanctioning Russia Act. We agreed that the EU and US must continue to work together to put pressure on Putin's war machine.
A good day for parents. The EU KIDS Act bans under-13s from social media, sets 15 as the age for a personal account, and flips the compliance model — platforms must prove their design is safe BEFORE it reaches kids, not after harm is done. A big shift in how we regulate Big Tech.
Every day our children are engaging with some of the most sophisticated technology ever created.
Technology that was not created with their wellbeing in mind.

Coordination within the Coalition of the Willing is essential to provide Ukraine with the comprehensive support it needs to prepare for the coming winter. The EU is accelerating the rollout of the Ukraine Support Loan to support air defence and energy infrastructure.
Pressure on the Russian economy and its shadow fleet will continue and increase. Russia must engage seriously in peace negotiations. Escalation is not the solution — diplomacy is.
Security in the Black Sea must be restored. Russia must allow Ukrainian grain to reach the rest of the world. Russia is putting global food security at risk.
We will move forward with Ukraine’s EU accession process. The future of Ukraine is in the European Union.
We will continue to support Ukraine for as long as necessary and provide Ukraine with security guarantees once this terrible war ends, so that it never happens again.

Today, we approved €6.1 billion for the air and missile defence systems, missiles, ammunition and radars that Ukraine urgently needs.
