"We're seeing a rise in citizen journalists and activists" using TikTok, so "there's space for news organizations to also be there," providing original reporting, @EleJFink says

There is a rise in people using TikTok as a search engine. They are also more media savvy, curious and politically active. This means we see more citizen journalism; possibility for traditional media to take advantage and engage. @valentinajpark @davejorgenson @EleJFink #ijf23

Then @violastefanello snapped me on the big screen asking @davejorgenson @AnBress @EleJFink + @valentinajpark how they diversify their content on TikTok beyond core news. Loads of takeaways in this panel!

"Animals have done it all." Oral sex, masturbation, homosexual sex ... Evolutionary biologist @sexinnature is showing just how widespread sexual diversity is among animals.

Do animals have sex for pleasure?
