@GordonGChang is spot on here. Ditching the TPP was a mistake. Had it gone through it would have provided a network of transparent trade that helped build supply chain resilience. Instead we have @apple locked into PRC supply chains, a 1.2 T PRC trade surplus end of 25 and 5000 BYD cars en route to Australia etc. Together we out scale

On our first visit to Taiwan this week, @KarenPence and I were inspired by the courageous stand of the Taiwanese people for democracy, free enterprise and the rule of law.
