A noncitizen on the rolls doesn't have to vote to be deportable. Falsely claiming citizenship to register is a federal crime (18 U.S.C. 1015(f)) and a removal ground on its own (INA 237(a)(3)(D)). Subpoenaing county records is how you match the rolls against status data. People waiting years to naturalize the right way shouldn't be outvoted by those who skipped the line.
