The atmosphere and buzz of Fleadh 2026 was like nothing Belfast has seen before.
2026 was also the largest Fleadh in history welcoming over 1.6 million visitors!
Let’s put our shoulders to the wheel and bring the Fleadh back in 2028 to make history again! 👏🏻

Sinn Féin is standing 4 candidates to win in the next Assembly election in West Tyrone.
Tonight, at an event attended by hundreds of Republicans, Sinn Féin selected Declan McAleer, Nicola Brogan, Paul Boggs, and Órlfhaith Begley MP as Sinn Féin’s four West Tyrone candidates in the next Assembly election.
This election is the most important in generations.
It is an opportunity to support the strong leadership of Sinn Féin and show that change in the North is unstoppable.
To send a message to those who want to drag us back to the past, that there will be No Going Back.
Every vote will count.
Together, let’s make history.
Let’s make it 4 Sinn Féin MLAs in West Tyrone!

In 2022, history was made when the people gave me a mandate to be their First Minister.
And I stand here today every bit as much First Minister as I was on that historic day when I took office.
The DUP’s efforts to disrupt me in my role as First Minister are undemocratic, supremacist, and rooted in their inability to accept a nationalist First Minister.

This week An Taoiseach Micheál Martin announced plans to establish a body to examine Irish unity. Rose @conwaywalsh described the move as ‘significant’ in an interview on BBC Talkback earlier. Listen here 👂
"For decades, Canada has supported peace in Ireland. There are many differences between Canada & the US, not least politically at this time, but all those I met in NY, Ottawa, & Halifax shared the hope of building a better, new, & United Ireland."

I very much welcome this development. It was one of the key recommendations in our GFA Committee Constitutional Future 2024 Report on Economics and Finance. Likewise our reports on Women & The Constitution and All Ireland Healthcare will feed into this initiative.
Sinn Féin and the SDLP have welcomed plans to create a new body to engage on different constitutional frameworks around Irish unity.
It's understood the Taoiseach will bring a memo before Christmas proposing a new body to examine Ireland’s future.

I welcome the Irish Government’s announcement of this important step forward on the road to Irish unity.
This is an opportunity we must seize. Preparations must now move forward with urgency, with the resources, ambition and inclusive approach needed to shape our shared future.
This process must be inclusive from the outset, with everyone having a meaningful opportunity to contribute and have their say in shaping the future of our island.

The comments by DUP leader Gavin Robinson today were arrogant and supremacist.
The DUP is consumed with their own internal leadership troubles and divisions. They are in turmoil.
The days of domination and supremacy are over.
The days of treating people like second class citizens are over.
There will be no going back.
Not now, and not ever.
I, as First Minister, will be at the Assembly on Monday morning, along with Sinn Féin’s Ministers, to continue our work.
We will keep showing up every day for people.
