West is ignoring deliberately the destruction of democratic system & human rights- brutal use of courts to quash any opposition voice in Pakistan.Human rights leaders are silient while Imran Khan is Languishing in jail, his family & party workers are facing brutality. Silience ?
Pakistan: TV anchor Iqrarul Hassan, seized from his Lahore home at 3am, is jailed under the PECA cyber law over posts on governor's rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Branding dissent as cyberterrorism is how a military-run state silences the press. #HumanRights tribune.com.pk/story/2637368…

If the worst does happen, they may try to claim it was from natural causes or old age. My father, when he went to prison 3 years ago, was about the fittest and healthiest 70 year old man you could possibly find. He had no underlying health issues (despite being shot in the leg when the regime tried and failed to have him killed in an assassination attempt).
His health is deteriorating because of the inhumane treatment he has been subjected to in prison, which the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture has repeatedly stated amounts to torture.
Again, make no mistake - the regime will be responsible if he is killed in prison.
Your father is 74. The average life expectancy of a Pakistani man is around 65.
No one needs to do anything. Time and nature are already taking their course and every passing day brings him closer to his eventual death.
PS: No UN official has ever visited your father in jail to assess his conditions. Remember that before invoking international concern selectively.
Evil is allowed by western powers complicity to go stronger day by day. EVIL of zionisim is getting hold in MiddleEast
Fascism dancing a naked dance in the country.Unfortunately EU and Western powers are silient on degrading situation of human rights and disappearing of democracy. LEGAL system is a tool in the hands of actual ruler Junta to victimize while the front govt is a managed puppet
🇵🇰 Pakistan just sentenced 2 human rights lawyers to 10 YEARS in prison each... over security barriers on a cricket team's route.
Imaan Mazari-Hazir and her husband, Hadi Ali Chattha, were convicted by an ANTI-TERRORISM court of removing the barriers and inciting unrest in 2024. Both deny it and call it payback for their human rights work.
And it's the second time this year.
In January, they got 17 YEARS OVER SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS, a ruling slammed by lawyers and UN experts.
In September, the Supreme Court suspended those sentences and ordered their release. Police re-arrested them within HOURS.
This time, their trial was held inside a prison, where Mazari says they were kept in a cage and could barely communicate with their lawyers.
Freed by the Supreme Court, rearrested the same day, and now another decade behind bars.
In Pakistan, defending human rights is apparently the fastest way to lose your own.

Gaza is the most well-documented genocide in the history, yet the most denied by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
Anyone who knows anything about genocide at the UN says it's genocide—except the UN High Commissioner for Human.

I have never seen anyone sink so low as these people have.
Imran Khan’s sister, Noreen Khan, is in the ICU, and the doors are being kept tightly locked with bolts and chains, as if this elderly woman poses a threat to them or is somehow going to escape from the hospital while fighting for her life.
Uzma Khan’s husband and Noreen Khan’s daughter are waiting outside the ICU ward, but they are not being allowed to see her.
What are they so afraid of? She is lying in the ICU. She is 71 years old. Why so much police presence? Why so much security and protocol? And, above all, why is she being denied the right to see her own family?

🇵🇰 Imran Khan’s son says Pakistan’s rulers are TRYING TO KILL his father.
“It is clear that they are trying to kill him.”
Those words come from a son who says no one has seen or heard from his father since August.
Back then, Sulaiman says, Imran spoke out about being tortured, and warned the regime was trying to kill him the way Egypt’s government did Mohamed Morsi, who died behind bars.
His son says even a Supreme Court order from August, for Imran to be assessed and treated at a private hospital and to get regular visits from family and lawyers, is still being ignored.
So now Sulaiman is doing what no child should ever have to do, naming in advance who he’ll blame if the worst happens: army chief Asim Munir, with the government’s approval.
No son should have to fight this hard just to see his father again.
