For those who followed the amazing @wcandillon talk at @appjsconf github.com/AzzappApp/react-n… is now publicly available !
Hello @wcandillon, I see that you are working on video support for react-native-skia, we are working on it also internally, but with a different approach of what I have seen from your public work, perhaps we could discuss a bit about it ?
We are looking for help on skia and ReactNative on the C++ side (paid obviously) please contact me if you have solid knowledge on this topic.
You really understand the beauty of @typescript structural typing when you comeback to a more traditional nominal type system

I haven't worked with react native for over a year and a year later I still have the same problems, monorepo is hell, view transition is painful ...
I'm looking for a freelance mission (remote or on Aix/Marseille) I'm proficient in #ReactJS, #ReactNative #NodeJS an #JavaScript in general. Feel free to contact me if you are interested.

Today, React Native reached a major milestone - all 1K+ RN screens in the Facebook app use the new Fabric renderer. This is something we have been working toward since January 2018!
Next, we'll be starting to work on bringing this to open source for everyone to use - stay tuned!
Best #typescript alternative to pipeline operator that I found : typescriptlang.org/play?#cod….
Not so much satisfied
Fun with #typescript variadics tuple types, could be useful for fp library typings : typescriptlang.org/play?#cod…

They name the PR's like "Dependabot/blah blah blah" so it looks like one of those no-brainer PR's you just merge because it just ups a dependency.

In the future it will be shown that lockdowns made Covid worse .
Caused elderly to be more exposed. Prevented young from developing blocking immunity. Shut down life saving hospital treatment, weakening and making many more susceptible.
Panic always make things worse

Replying to @mjackson
Imagine if `npm`, et al, started charging a teeny tiny amount per download to corporations and companies, billed monthly, and filtered some percentage of that down to maintainers.
I think there would suddenly be a lot of cash-flush maintainers that could work full time.

Just wasted yet another half day battling with TypeScript "errors" (ie; TypeScript complaining about perfectly valid & working JavaScript).
How much of the value of TypeScript is this ☝️, and how much is it the IDE auto-complete? 🤔
Can we get the later without the former?
