As much as cheating is a serious academic offence, it is done by many, many get caught and penalized for it, and the mental anguish and shame can indeed drive one to commit suicide (Jason Arday case which happened last month). It would have been preferable to not release this footage. The last memory of someone should not be a public video of them in a vulnerable state. Yet, Indian Leftists, constantly running rumours on the internet, have forced the hand of the administration to release the footage. If those in power are still not committed to total institutional destruction of the Indian Left, we will soon have a situation where the country will be abolished instead, lost in sectarian warfare, pioneered by the Indian Left.
