Dude needs to learn his history as studios were doing it for years under the Production Code. And that’s fine if you want to do that today. It’s just the smug, assumed moral superiority undertone that makes me roll my eyes.
We just made a promise no Hollywood studio has ever made. No sex or nudity on screen, no F-word, and no misuse of God's name in Angel originals. And 3 million Guild members get a veto on everything before it ever lands on Angel.
Parents shouldn't have to sift through a dozen movies to find one they can watch. That's why we made the Angel Promise. foxnews.com/media/angel-stud…

I swear theatre etiquette is dead. I went to a live performance of The Rocky Horror Picture Show and people were shouting and throwing things the entire time. Absolutely reprehensible.
The kids immediately hearing “what comes first in the science room” and going “the guy always comes first / the girl never comes” is still one of the cleanest unhinged escalations SNL’s pulled off.
Driver’s already barely holding it together after “it will get vaccinated” and “provide a sense of atmosphere,” then they drag the innuendo back in and you can see him decide in real time that he’s done teaching. The commitment to the slow-burn rage is what makes these actually work
I have a picture of myself in the lot with the WB water tower in the background. I guess I have a deal in the works as well… 🤷🏻♂️

Well, thanks @BenMank77 for a short cry this morning…
Kathy Bates says she was sure she never thanked her mother in her Misery Oscar speech, then the interviewer showed her the tape
"She gave up her retirement because I was born so late in life to them."
"When I won the Oscar for Misery, she said, I don't know what all the excitement about, you didn't discover the cure for cancer."
"Why did I think I didn't thank her?"
"Because she should have had my life."
"I wanted her spirit to come into me and enjoy everything I was enjoying because of what she'd given up."
Her mom's whole review of the Oscar was that she didn't cure cancer, and Kathy still believed she had shorted her that night. Then she watches herself thank her mom at home, right there in the speech. Some people never stop trying to pay their parents back. You can hear it in how quiet she gets at the end.
