This is so dumb. astrid trained to kill dragons. Something hiccup “the chosen one” fought against

Okay get hiccup out of here, he not only tried to train, he went out and manually figured out dragons by himself, there was true effort on his part.

Okay the HTTYD one makes zero sense since: 1. Hiccup isn’t a chosen one 2.Astrid trained her whole life to KILL dragons and Hiccup literally invented dragon riding so she’d have no way to train it

using how to train your dragon for this video is really funny because the "chosen one" (hiccup) is literally important because he does the opposite of what astrid was taught to.

Whoever made this either did not actually watch How To Train Your Dragon, or they watched it with their eyes shut and their ears plugged

Hiccup wasn't anything special, he just had empathy; Astrid was good at killing dragons. But that didn't make her particularly special either. The idea is more about deepening the bond between humans and animals,Astrid never abandoned her competitive style, became an expert in dragon racing, and came to love her dragon. There was no chosen one there.

he doesnt die. THAT is why he gains the courage. because from the START OF THE MOVIE, we see that he denied orders from authority. he was CLEARLY bullied, and it made him YEARN MORE to simply PROVE himself to his village, to his people, to his FATHER.

it’s a heros journey essentially and one that tackles the ecological destruction of the antarctic, while hitting themes of social and cultural alienation; Happy Feet you’ll always be important to me
