De Zerbi giving the players a week off isn't a problem at all tbh. It's pretty standard for some clubs to give players time off during international breaks to manage load. Working them to the bone for 3 weeks straight, after the start of the season would do more damage than good.

- بنظام دي زيربي .. الـ Deep runs وسيلة مهمة لاستغلال المساحات بعد جذب ضغط الخصم .. لكنها تفقد اهمّيتها اذا كان حامل الكرة يتردد أو يفضل تمريرة آمنة .. والأسوأ أن تكرار تجاهل هذه الانطلاقات بشكل ساذج .. و هذا ما حصل بالامس .. للاسف هناك قرارات تزيد من الخطورة و أخرى تحدّ منها ..

WAY too many examples of Spurs players ignoring deep runs, whether it's Marmoush, Savio, Tonali or in this instance, Fernandes. The design of the system is to attack spaces with deep runs after engaging the press - look at the options here. Numerous times they've ignored this.

I didn’t realise people are using this situation as a stick to beat Ineos / the club with. I’d accept any opportunity to do that but this isn’t one. There’s problems wherever JJ goes and there’s one prime common denominator.

The “Interfering with an Opponent” law is a clear example of how making the law more detailed and specific actually does more harm than good: it effectively draws the definition narrower, leaves no room for interpretation or common sense. Simpler would obviously be better.
