A £10bn injection to cut fuel duty in the budget could have reduced petrol and diesel prices by 21p a litre for 12 months, reduced inflation and stimulated economic growth in the UK.
But the Government sent it to Zelensky instead, who is reported to be ‘delighted’ to receive our money.

The social media ban was never really about protecting children. The real goal was ending online anonymity, making it easier to identify and persecute dissidents, crushing free speech and advancing the plan to impose a totalitarian system of digital IDs. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

There is a lesson to be learned about the manner in which invasions of privacy are policed in Britain. The ability to investigate and publish is unevenly distributed.
To sanctify a doxxing as beyond the reproach of the criminal law and justifiably in the public interest, you require a United Kingdom Press Card Authority (UKPCA) issued card or be a member of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) – it is then, of course, journalism. Some of the greatest serial offenders when it comes to doxxing are protected by this privilege, Hope No Hate among them.
I wrote on the subject of this precise double standard by design – particularly as it applies here on X – in @ReinersProject here: reiners.org.uk/the-doxxing-p…

UK new minimum wage: £27,456 per year.
Higher-rate tax bracket: £50,270.
1.8x difference.
In 1997 there was a 5x difference.
Mind boggling.

“Hi, it’s Octopus Energy here, we see you are £800 in credit and paying £250 a month so we thought we’d put up your direct debit to £340 a month so we can earn even more interest using your money. It’s for your own good because we’re really going to shake you down this winter.”

The United Kingdom is no longer a free country that celebrates western values.
It is a tyrannical hell hole, and this should serve as the best argument as to why America should not abide by extradition treaties with said hell hole.

The threat is completely artificial, it's a realization from within that an external enemy is the only way to avoid implosion.
Lula packed Brazil’s Supreme Court with his own lawyer and justice minister and had them lock his rival up for 27 years.
Back in 2023, after taking power, he named Cristiano Zanin and Flávio Dino to the court. In 2025 both voted to convict Jair Bolsonaro of a coup plot and hand him the sentence.
That court had previously wiped Lula’s own corruption convictions in 2021 so he could run again.
On election day, Zanin ordered the polls kept open another 2 hours, 3 minutes before they were supposed to close. Both sides had asked, but the call came from Lula’s former defense lawyer.
Even after Bolsonaro was barred and jailed, Lula still trailed Flávio 45–47 in the first round and only scraped past him by under 4 points in the runoff.
Flávio still refuses to concede. Lula called the win a defeat for denialism and lies.
Two of the judges who put his rival away were the men he put on the court. Voters barely picked him. The court cleared the path.
On the day María Corina Machado returns to Venezuela after months in exile, banned from the ballot so Maduro’s regime could claim a win she and Edmundo González actually took, a Brazilian Supreme Court justice does the same job for Lula.
Cristiano Zanin, Lula’s former personal lawyer, orders voting extended 2 hours nationwide after polls had already closed.
The request came from Lula’s campaign. Transport excuses, rain, whatever.
And the result is chaos, paused counting, and a leftist incumbent who gets extra time the rules didn’t give him.
Same script on the same continent. When the left can’t win cleanly, a judge rewrites the rules.
Venezuela’s courts kept Machado off the ballot and rubber stamped Maduro. Brazil’s court, staffed by the incumbent’s own lawyer, keeps the polls open after the deadline so the incumbent’s voters have one more chance.
They don’t need tanks when they have robes.

Lula da Silva’s party has posted a message stating that more arrests of opposition figures are coming in the next few hours.
In this instance, it concerns Senator Deltan Dallagnol. The situation unfolding in Brazil is extremely serious; it is likely that all opposition figures will be imprisoned.
This pathetic grovelling is laughable.
When will they realise we don’t want a “genuine centre right party”, we don’t want another decade of managed decline, and certainly don’t want Reforms wet immigration policy.
In order to save our people we must take a sledgehammer to the political machine and start anew.
