Desperation dun turn a whole political economics professor to Abule Egba economist.
Politics is a terrible game
We are convinced that targeting a strategic appreciation of the exchange rate by reasonably strengthening it from ₦1,350/$ to ₦500/$ as part of our manifesto is a winning strategy
It offers a direct, multi-faceted approach to curbing inflation, reducing poverty, and lowering the cost of living
When paired with our core manifesto commitments—such as major infrastructure improvements in security, electricity, and the road network, alongside structural reforms to boost market competitiveness—we can reasonably project a dramatic drop in staple commodity prices:
• Sliced Bread (Loaf): ₦1,750 → ₦800
• Imported Rice (50kg bag): ₦55,000 → ₦27,500
• Yam (Medium tuber): ₦2,400 → ₦1,200
• Maize (50kg bag): ₦75,000 → ₦37,500
• Plantain (Bunch): ₦2,500 → ₦1,250
• Whole Chicken: ₦7,000 → ₦3,500
• Eggs (Dozen): ₦2,300 → ₦1,150
• Garri (Painter): ₦1,300 → ₦650
• Petrol (Per litre): ₦1,350/$1 → ₦500/$1
• Cement (50kg bag): ₦13,500/$10 → ₦2,000/$4
It clearly demonstrates our concrete plan to uplift the 140 million Nigerians currently experiencing multi-dimensional poverty

Atiku is a renowned looter. He sees government as an opportunity to enrich himself, family and friends.
He’s a major reason Nigeria does not have 24hrs electricity.

Governor Makinde lecturing Nigeria on borrowing is like someone owing the bank complaining that his neighbour took a loan.Oyo State just approved a fresh ₦100 billion loan, alongside a ₦300 billion refinancing arrangement, yet somehow, borrowing is only a national emergency when it happens in Abuja.
He says long-term capital is missing, but his own state reportedly secured a commercial facility at about 22% interest. So the “private-sector economist” understands manufacturing, but not the arithmetic of borrowing at commercial rates in the final months of his tenure.
Makinde wants Nigerians to believe he is the austerity professor, yet his own state is collecting fresh loans at 22%. The only thing he is manufacturing in Oyo is debt.

We saw this format in 2023 and Peter Obi lost. It’s the delusional minority that are making Obi believe he is popular. I hope this gentleman won’t start calling Nigeria unprintable names when Obi comes 4th in January 2027 😂.

"I believe this government has instituted the law when it used to be 4 years for salary review but it’s now going to be every 3 years. So the next review is going to be next year. I so believe what the federal government has just done is to give this temporary relief for the period while we are waiting for the time when there will be another round table negotiation on what the minimum wage will be from next year going forward." - @AyoOyalowo

"@atiku went from being a customs officer to a billionaire without ever explaining how. That unexplained wealth has bankrolled him, his election after election. And he’s is now reportedly selling off properties in Dubai to keep his campaign alive”~APC Presidential Campaing Council Spokesperson, Mallam Alwan Hassan (@yesmylo)
I think, it is high time for @atiku to explain to Nigerians where his wealth is coming from.
With all the wealth he has, what has Atiku done for the North and Nigerians in 27 years?
@BolajiADC @realkenokonkwo
@DeleMomodu @_dinomelaye should give us an answer.
