Banton has clicked consistently as opener now. It'll be interesting to see how England fit Bethell back in once he is fit.
Always felt Bethell was more suited to 3/4 than opening in ODIs
Only 3 Indian players have 100s in all 4 SENA nations currently- Kohli, Dravid and Tendulkar.
Hopefully Pant can become the 4th.
This is stupid even if it were true but it’s simply not.
If anything, teams don’t bat long enough and we see far too many fake macho declarations.

Curran is completely useless but Jansen will cover up almost every issue that RCB have right now. He will end the Duffy or Romario dilemma because fills both roles and he can float like Krunal too.
If there's even a small chance of doing a trade with PBKS, we should do it.
A decent NZ series and a great BGT and DDP can lock down number 3 for a long time. He’d be better at 5/6 especially outside Asia but that is true for every single batter.
It didn't immediately click where he played with Dravid until you realise that two players who debuted together opened in a WT20 semi against a team coached by one of the other debutants 11 years later
6 is not a specialist role if a batter cannot bat 4/5 or even 3. It’s the position you play your spare batter.
Is he the next best batter available after Jurel? I don’t think he is.
Washington Sundar’s only utility in white ball cricket is playing on slow Travis against LHB heavy teams. He’s not an acceptable batter in any role.
Dhir is very good for a part timer and can go from ball one. The only other player for the offspin batting AR role is Riyan Parag.
I don't think there is much between NKR and any supposedly frontline 4th pacer that can be picked. His batting however has been a complete embarrassment at test level post BGT despite the obvious potential though.
Need to get the favorable conditions like we did at Perth and pick the correct XI.
Good teams will exploit the comical combination that Gambhir puts out most times unlike England. They found the right combination against SL because Washington Sundar wasn't being forced in.
There are maybe 3-4 players in history who could’ve hit boundaries on a MCG surface with trampoline bounce and this is ignoring all the intangibles.
Any performance in history can be considered a “non-event” by having a vivid imagination.
