🎼 “I went through your bedside drawer You know I've never been inclined to have to do that before Never been Bergdorf's But you took someone shopping there on May 24 You bought her a handbag It wasn't cheap” 🎵 Did you get the messages? During @lilyallen's performance of "4chan Stan" at @RodLaverArena, she wraps herself up in a revenge dress, made up of oversized sales receipts/dockets (including ones referencing places like Bergdorf Goodman, tequila bars, Nobu, Chanel and the Plaza) that mirror the song’s lyrics about discovering evidence of her partner’s alleged spending on another woman. Subsequently, she retrieves a second piece of fabric and wraps it around her head. The visible text on this material clearly includes the words “Heartbroken” and “Motherfucker”. How did you react when you saw this? ZOOM IN for more details. ❤️⚡️🐓 #LilyAllen #WestEndGirl #RodLaverArena #RevengeDress #iPhone

Happy Halloween! 💀👻🎃

😻 @CarbieWarbie is enjoying a night in the PUSSY PALACE with @lilyallen at @RodLaverArena. 😺💃❤️⚡️🐓 #LilyAllen #PussyPalace #WestEndGirl #RodLaverArena #StarEffects

@lilyallen delivers a captivating performance of her critically acclaimed West End Girl production this evening at @RodLaverArena. ❤️⚡️🐓 #LilyAllen #WestEndGirl #RodLaverArena #iPhone

🥰 Here is the always lovely @lilyallen last night at @RodLaverArena, delivering a performance for the ages. It wasn't your usual greatest-hits retrospective concert. West End Girl was more like a one-woman stage play or rock opera detailing the collapse of her marriage to @Stranger_Things actor @DavidKHarbour. ❤️⚡️🐓 #LilyAllen #WestEndGirl #RodLaverArena #iPhone

☎️ "Hi, how are you? I miss you Yeah Huh? Yeah Right Um Okay Well I mean, it doesn’t make me feel great Well, if that’s what you need to do, then I guess Well, how, how will it work? Where, right I mean it makes me really sad but Mm-hm Mm-hm No, I’m, I’m fine, I’m fine, I just, I want, I want you to be happy Okay Okay, I’ll speak to you later I love you Bye" CLICK! It was funny watching @lilyallen's one-sided spoken outro from the title track "West End Girl". Someone screamed loudly behind me, "Don't answer it". Reports from other performances indicate that some members of the audience can get quite rowdy. It's a devastating pivot from a happy opening song that launches a unique story of doubt, isolation, discovery and processing. It was exciting to see some real drama on that stage last night at @RodLaverArena. ❤️⚡️🐓 #LilyAllen #WestEndGirl #RodLaverArena #iPhone

(☞ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞ HEY YOU!!! ARE YOU READY TO PLAY...Where the fuck is @CarbieWarbie? 💋🐓 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ #SpotTheChook

Booyakasha! @SachaBaronCohen's Ali G Who Iz I? has just dropped on @amazon Prime Video. CHECK IT! It's his directorial debut and the first time in 20 years that he has returned to his iconic @OfficialAli_G character. FOR REAL! For fine purveyors of crude comedy, this is a must watch. IT'S WICKED! That naked fight with his hairy producer in @BoratSagdiyev still makes me laugh at loud. I'm surprised he hasn't been beaten up with some of his previous antics in Bruno and Borat. The final scene in this Ali G movie is his most ambitious sequence but I won't spoilt it. Respek! ❤️⚡️🐓 #AliG #SachaBaronCohen

He might not be a household name here in Australia but it is with deep sadness that I acknowledge the passing of @donnieiris at the age of 83, following a courageous three-year battle with bladder cancer. His music and especially the exuberant 1980's classic “Ah! Leah!”, continues to resonate as a vibrant expression of pure rock energy and remains a cherished presence in power pop collections worldwide. The song’s driving spirit and that unforgettable mid-section—with its richly layered, multi-tracked vocals reminiscent of @thecarsband's “Moving In Stereo”, capture the essence of joyful, radio-ready rock. I always thought it should have been a chart-topping worldwide hit but I don't remember it getting any local airplay here in Australia, except for the weekly Casey Kasem American Top 40 radio show. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ In the accompanying music video, Donnie projected a distinctive, relatable presence that set him apart from the conventional rock-star archetype of the era. He was more Eugene Levy rather than David Lee Roth. As a sidenote, the woman in this music video featured actress Lana Clarkson, who unfortunately in 2003 was murdered by the famous "wall of sound" music producer, #PhilSpector. Donnie's music catalogue, too, deserves renewed attention. In 2021 Rock Candy Records remasters of his first four MCA albums, expanded with additional tracks, offer a rewarding immersion in his body of work and is highly recommended. Donnie Iris’s songs continue to lift spirits and connect generations. Thank you for the music, Donnie. 🍃🥀🍂 #DonnieIris

It’s great to see that math rock duo, Angine de Poitrine will be finally coming to Australia next year, as they have just been announced on a couple of music festival bills. ❤️⚡️🐓

🥺 It’s a very anticlimactic way to end of the modern era of @MotoGP racing at @PICircuit aka Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit. Today’s race has just been cancelled. I used to love attending and photographing this exciting sporting event every year. Seeing Aussie @Official_CS27 aka Casey Stoner win six years in a row from 2007 to 2012 was amazing! Rossi won eight times from 1998 to 2014. When my favourite rider, @ValeYellow46 aka Valentino Rossi retired in 2021, it was never the same for me. Over the years, my favourite action spot at Lukey Heights became unavailable due to an expensive corporate tent being installed there. With Liberty Media taken over the event from Dorma, new restrictive rules kicked in where you were no longer able to enter the circuit with a telephoto lense greater that 200mm. For many years, I was able to shoot anywhere around the circuit with my 600mm, that became 840mm with a teleconverter to get up close racing action. Sorry to see Phillip Island go and my thoughts of racing on the streets of Adelaide next year are pretty negative. I hope it will be safe for the riders with plenty of run off areas. It certainly won’t be as spectacular to shoot as the Island, where you could get some picturesque action shots with the ocean waves in the background but you can’t stop progress. 🏁🏍️❤️⚡️🐓 #MotoGP #PhillipIsland

😃 It's always so much FUN watching @ShonenKnife_Mgr play! They pumped out their bangers tonight at The Tote. Here's a beautiful photograph of the always lovely @SK_Atsuko @ShonenKnifeRisa & @ShonenKnife. 🇯🇵❤️⚡️🐓 #ShonenKnife #TheTote #RecuttinAustraliaTour
