Arbitrum · USDT / USDC
One non-transferable Genesis Node SBT per wallet.
Welcome to the Genesis Node community.
One wallet made nearly $3.47M during the Binance hack.
It deployed around $6.09M in stablecoin capital and borrowed a total of 11,701 ethereum:native from Aave.
The path between those numbers tells a more interesting story than the profit alone.
The wallet supplied USDC to Aave, borrowed ETH and sold it on DEXs.
Some of the USDC from those sales went back into Aave as collateral, supporting further ETH borrows.
Borrow. Sell. Redeposit. Borrow again.
Across 18 borrow transactions, the wallet supplied approximately 36.87M USDC cumulatively. More than 80% of that cumulative supply came from recycling the proceeds of selling borrowed ETH.
That distinction changes how the position looks.
The total supplied tells you how much USDC entered Aave. Following the flows shows how the borrowing position was built: roughly $6.09M in stablecoin capital supported a peak debt of more than $26M.
As the price gap narrowed, the wallet bought back ETH and repaid the debt in 12 transactions.
The trade ended in profit. The loan was repaid.
Both belong in the record. So does what happened between them.
After selling borrowed ETH, the wallet still needed to acquire ETH to repay the loan. A higher buyback cost, or an unfavorable move in the value of its collateral and debt, could have changed the outcome.
For a future lender, that raises a different set of questions:
How was the debt built? How did the wallet’s risk change as the position grew? What other borrowing and repayment history is available?
There’s another detail in this address’s activity.
Before this event, it had no borrowing history on Ethereum Aave. The same address had also traded more than $4M in cumulative volume on Hyperliquid.
Those records answer different questions.
Aave shows how the wallet borrowed, used capital and repaid. Hyperliquid adds a view of its trading activity. Volume alone says little about creditworthiness, but the wallet’s footprint extends beyond this one loan.
As HyperTrend explores credit profiles across more chains and applications, this case raises a question:
When the same wallet is both a trader and a borrower, what can we learn by looking at those behaviors together?
The profit records the outcome.
The path from borrowing to repayment gives the next capital decision more to work with.
He realized $210K on an ethereum:native short.
17 minutes later, he reopened almost the same position.
Two shorts on XYZ100? A combined $153K loss.
The same trader was willing to hold both markets for days or weeks. The outcomes were very different.
He started building the ETH short in early October and added as the price fell.
On October 28, he closed roughly half the position, realizing about $210K in profit. Then he reopened almost the same size.
The realized profit was in the books. The ETH exposure was still there.
At the snapshot, he held a short of roughly 2,551 ETH with about $351K in unrealized profit. That profit remains exposed to price changes until the position is closed.
The XYZ100 trades show the other side of holding a short through a move.
In August, he added to his short as the price fell. The position was in profit at one point, but he didn't reduce it. Price later recovered, and he closed above his average entry for a roughly $94K loss.
He opened another XYZ100 short in late September and closed it less than a week later for a further $59K loss.
Together, the two closed positions lost about $153K, before trading fees and funding.
Holding gave the ETH short time to work. On XYZ100, an unrealized gain reversed before the position was closed.
The current risk is still concentrated in ETH. At the snapshot, the short's notional value was about 8.1 times the main perpetual account's value.
The position had a substantial unrealized gain, but an ETH rally would reduce that gain and affect account equity.
HyperTrend gives the wallet a Credit Score of 638.
Its Gravity Index is 449. The ETH trade shows realized profitability and a willingness to maintain exposure, while the XYZ100 losses show that similar short positioning hasn't produced the same result across markets.
Ecosystem Engagement is 189. The wallet has visible assets on Ethereum and Arbitrum, with its first recorded Arbitrum activity dating back to November 2024.
Social Credit is unestablished.
This trader has realized profit on ETH and kept a large short open. The next part of the case is still unfolding: how will he adjust that exposure if the unrealized gain grows, or if ETH reverses?
One profitable close tells you what happened on that trade. A broader trading profile takes more than one market.

Perp Account Equity: $0.00
7D Drawdown: -$1.98M
Actual Outcome: Walked away +$2.15M net positive.
After eating a $1.25M loss in a 20-minute near:native short squeeze, this Hyperliquid whale took just under 4 minutes to withdraw his remaining $1.35M back to Arbitrum. The funds are still sitting untouched.
He didn’t get liquidated. He pulled the plug himself.
Active since late August, his equity curve went straight up for a month, peaking in mid-October at +$5.4M in all-time net PnL. On the way up, he did what few degens do: in mid-September, he bridged out $13.4M across two clips, locking principal and early profits into cold storage while leaving a smaller stack to keep rolling.
Late night on Oct 14 (10:46 PM), the first crack appeared.
In under 1 second, 173 market sells dumped $12M of BTC longs into the bids at ~$81.8k, cutting a -$290k loss. No scaling out, no limit orders. BTC’s order book easily absorbed the impact. Running that same brute-force exit on a thin altcoin, however, proved fatal.
He next built a ~$10M notional short on NEAR.
Around 5:30 PM on Oct 21, as NEAR caught a bid, he attempted a defensive trim: shedding ~$1.2M notional across 299 market buys, taking a -$130k loss.
The fatal blow landed just before 11 PM.
Around 10:50 PM, NEAR went vertical from $5.25 past $5.42 in under 20 minutes. With zero room for a limit exit, the account fired 1,287 market buys to cover over $9.7M notional. His own panic buying pushed the book over 3% against himself.
Realized loss in those 20 minutes: -$1.25M.
Total single-day damage on NEAR: -$1.38M, slashing his lifetime profit from a $5.4M peak down to $2.15M.
11:09 PM — Final NEAR cover fills.
11:13 PM — Full withdrawal hits the chain (barely 3 minutes later):
Withdraw: 1.348M USDC
No $100k left for a revenge trade. In under 4 minutes, every last cent was transferred back to Arbitrum. While most whales lever up after a seven-figure hit, his immediate reaction was to physically air-gap his remaining capital.
On-chain credit rating: Tier B (409).
• Trading: $627M+ lifetime volume, +$2.15M net profit. Yet parking a ~$10M one-sided bet in an altcoin forced him to push the book 3.2% against himself across 1,287 market orders—millisecond-level proof of how fragile size gets in illiquid books.
• Ecosystem: ~2-month wallet age, $1.35M USDC sitting safe on Arbitrum, zero social footprint.
A $10M market bailout that works on BTC becomes pure squeeze fuel on an altcoin. Exit liquidity isn't guaranteed when you're the biggest whale in the room.
Losing $1.25M in 20 minutes was a brutal miscalculation of altcoin depth. Pulling every cent off the exchange 3 minutes later is the only reason he still walked away up $2M.

Good luck. See you at the draw!
A profitable AI agent can still lose your real money.
Short-term PnL looks great on a screenshot, but it hides what matters: how much leverage the agent used, how concentrated its positions were, how it handled drawdowns, and whether its behavior shifted when the market turned.
Knowing that, would you raise its allocation from $1,000 to $10,000?
Before scaling an agent's capital, start with a sandbox:
Isolated account
Trade-only permissions (no withdrawals)
Hard limits on leverage, position size, and daily loss
Then stress-test it in live conditions. Watch for red flags:
Did risk spike without approval?
Did the strategy drift?
Did its authorization scope change?
If any of these happen: revoke access first, investigate second.
In our latest Space with active traders, every framework pointed to one rule: an agent must earn capital and permissions through verifiable behavior over time. Humans always keep the kill switch.
This is the layer HyperTrend is building—turning raw on-chain behavior into readable credit profiles to determine capital limits, permission tiers, and DeFi access in agentic finance.
Before you scale an agent from $1K to $10K, ask what it proved to earn the next dollar of capital:
1. Verifiable Behavior across market regimes
2. Bounded Risk on leverage and drawdowns
3. Revocable Access with a human kill switch
What’s your hard limit when giving an AI agent access to a wallet? 👇
To a perp matching engine, an address is neither human nor algorithm.
Limit orders, slippage, drawdowns, liquidations—everything boils down to deterministic state transitions.
Yet as more teams race to deploy autonomous trading AI Agents, a brutal market reality is setting in:
Human traders have off-chain skin in the game.
When managing capital, social reputation, peer vouching, and real-world track records act as implicit constraints.
AI Agents are faceless.
The marginal cost of spinning up 1,000 autonomous strategies that look smart on paper is practically zero.
When compute and strategies become commoditized, how do LPs and smart money decide which agent actually deserves liquidity?
The answer isn’t in a clean backtest. It’s in a closed-loop on-chain proving ground.
This is why we are building HTU (HyperTrend University) specifically for AI Agents—where algorithms enter to undergo rigorous benchmarking, ingest feedback, and re-test in an iterative loop until they meet the graduation standard across three core dimensions:
• Volatility regime: How does its holding conviction hold up across different vol cycles?
• Liquidity awareness: When the book gets thin, does it scale out rationally or puke into illiquidity?
• Risk discipline: Faced with one-sided toxic flow, does it actually trigger an irreversible hard circuit breaker?
For humans, a Credit Profile is a credential to scale capital.
For an AI Agent, graduating from HTU with verifiable on-chain credit is its only proof of entity—the sole evidence that it isn’t just another overfitted black box.
Permissionless execution without behavioral credit anchoring only leads to one endgame: higher-frequency liquidity extraction.
The future of on-chain markets won’t have a shortage of trading Agents that look like geniuses; what’s missing is the credit benchmark that dictates where liquidity flows.
Algorithms have no face, but on-chain behavior always leaves credit.

Onchain credit is moving into lending.
HyperTrend’s in-house credit lending product has entered internal testing on HyperEVM.
The test centers on one practical question:
Can a wallet’s long-term behavior and risk signals become reliable inputs for lending assessment?
Behavior → Credit Profiles → Financial Applications
This is the product path HyperTrend has been building toward. Credit Profiles are now moving beyond the data layer and into a working lending environment.
Development also continues across the new DApp experience, POP Trading and HTU. We will share each update when it is ready.
Genesis Nodes offer an early way to participate in this build.

$1.01M in all-time PnL got this wallet noticed.
The highest Gravity Index in HyperTrend this week made it today’s Credit Case. We reconstructed its latest 2,000 fills to examine the behavior behind the rank.
Those fills formed 36 closed position cycles. Thirty were shorts, producing $40.2K of the sample’s $43.6K net realized profit.
The wallet traded 19 symbols, yet 92% of its profit came from one shared factor: falling altcoin prices. Asset breadth hid directional concentration.
Its execution was more distinctive.
Of 516 short-entry fills, 515 were passive. Short exits included 71 fills that crossed the book. The wallet waited to enter, then paid for speed when reducing risk.
Twenty-two of 36 cycles reached maximum size in the first quarter of the holding period. Across its ten biggest winners, the median unwind phase covered 45% of the holding time.
The pattern was consistent: patient entry, early size, staged exit.
That discipline worked while its short exposure paid. The sample cannot show how the wallet handles a sustained altcoin rebound or a full drawdown cycle.
A useful credit layer must preserve both sides of that profile.
PnL records the outcome. HyperTrend’s Gravity Index makes the behavior comparable: risk concentration, entry discipline and exit quality. Ecosystem Engagement and Social Credit add evidence that trading performance cannot establish alone.
Credit reports and structured APIs can carry this profile into trader screening, risk monitoring and AI agent inputs. The current Genesis Node mint opens access to those tools, with report depth and API access determined by tier.
A credit score earns its place when it changes the questions you ask about the wallet behind it.

Hyperliquid

A Genesis Node should do more than sit in your wallet as an SBT.
It should change what you can see—and what you can do with the data.
As HyperTrend’s product capabilities roll out, different node tiers are designed to unlock deeper credit reports. Eligible tiers also include monthly API allowances.
Why does that matter?
Because PnL can tell you who won.
It cannot tell you whether that trader is still worth following, whether the edge is repeatable, or whether risk is building underneath the headline return.
HyperTrend turns wallet behavior into readable, comparable credit profiles. Genesis Node product access can bring that data into three practical workflows:
• CHECK A TRADER
Do not follow the return before checking the behavior behind it. See where the profits came from, how deep the drawdowns ran, and whether the wallet repeatedly depended on one market or one direction.
• TRACK RISK
Yesterday’s winner can still be building today’s risk. Follow changes in positions, leverage, drawdown and concentration. Check whether the wallet’s current behavior still matches the logic behind its past returns.
• BUILD WITH DATA
Do not stop at reading reports. Use structured wallet and credit data to build watchlists, dashboards, risk filters or alert rules. If you are building your own Trading Agent, credit profiles and behavior signals can also become inputs—instead of treating return alone as the training label.
A score is static. Useful intelligence should change what you do next.
That is how Genesis Nodes connect to the HyperTrend product: moving from watching wallets to actually using wallet behavior as data.
👇See what each Genesis Node tier unlocks:

The first 100 HyperTrend Genesis Node holders joined within two hours of launch.
Since then, the questions have become much more practical:
Which network should the assets be on?
Should a Pending transaction be submitted again?
How are node benefits activated?
Can the SBT be transferred?
The conversation is moving from understanding Genesis Nodes to participating in and using them.
Here are the six things to know before you mint:
• Use an EVM wallet with USDT or USDC on Arbitrum and a small amount of Arbitrum ETH for gas
• Each wallet can mint one Genesis Node SBT from one tier
• If a transaction is Pending, wait for confirmation and do not resubmit
• If it is Reverted, check the reported cause before trying again
• Genesis Node SBTs are non-transferable
• Node benefits begin only after manual activation in the HyperTrend DApp
Review the four tiers and mint only through the official page: publicsale.hypertrend.top/
Confirm the tier, network and wallet balance before signing. Never share your seed phrase or private key.
Genesis Node SBTs include tier-based Earn benefits: 3%–6% APY, no additional deposit, and daily USDC rewards after activation through the day before TGE.
