Federal Funding Alert: New CRISI grant awards $2.3 billion for 105 rail projects in 45 states. 🎉
The @USDOTFRA announced yesterday that the funding will improve more than 2,000 miles of track, with over $1.9 billion in additional state, local and private investment. Short line railroads account for 87 of the projects, including track and bridge rehabilitation, new locomotives and upgrades at more than 300 grade crossings.
