Thank you from the bottom of my heart Mr Lowe.
For what it is worth, this is what I know.
But please be aware, I am no expert & the lack of information available makes the folic acid mandate very difficult to research. But here goes.
Wes Streeting used his powers as Secretary of State (at the time) to push the FAM (Folic Acid mandate) though parliament as a "Statutory Instrument" which did not require parliamentary debate or public scrutiny.
However, Mr Streeting did NOT put his signature to this. & it was signed by Daniel Zeichner MP & head of DEFRA at the time.
The primary producer (among others) of the folic acid chemical is DSM Firmenich, a Swiss/Dutch chemical company, which also produced the BOVAER chemical, which was fed to cows to reduce greenhouse gasses. Thousands of cows got very sick & died.
The British people were very concerned at the time & boycotted Arla dairy as a result.
As an ordinary citizen of Great Britain, I have deep concern’s that the FAM, is tantamount to forced mass medication (against the Nuremberg Code) of the whole population of the UK, to save 200 babies a year from suffering neural tube defects.
If our Government really cared about saving babies from serious illness, they would NOT be encouraging the marriages of cousins, with benefits. Sorry.
Folic Acid is a man made lab chemical (a drug) first made in the 1940's & should NOT be confused with NATURAL B9 folate vitamins that are found in leafy green veg, which we all need for good health.
Synthetic Folic Acid is NOT found anywhere in the natural world.
I believe this mandate is deeply authoritarian.
The lack of public consultation, is horrific, with millions of British people who are not even AWARE that this is happening. Which is utterly unacceptable & frankly disgusting.
For the very best information on the folic acid case please follow @ClareCraigPath who has done awesome work on this horror we are all facing.
I am just a very unhappy travel agent, who loves healthy, wholesome food & is simply trying to do my bit.
I pray with all my heart that you raise this in Parliament, Mr Lowe.
Sincerely. J.R.B.
Below is a video, explaining about SYNTHETIC folic acid. This is NOT my video & I take NO credit for it.

If the petition had been easy we would have 100,000 signatures and 100,000 people who did not really understand the issues because they hadn't had to dig deeply.
Because it was slow, we have an army of people who have had to deeply understand what the issues are.
Winning.

The Tories keep saying they “made mistakes”.
Mistakes?
You governed this country for 14 years. These weren’t a few bad calls around the edges.
These were decisions that fundamentally changed Britain, some of them potentially forever.
They left us with the highest tax burden since WW2. Now they talk about cutting taxes.
They grew the state. They grew the Civil Service to historic levels. They let the welfare bill balloon. Now they talk about small government.
They buried businesses, financial markets, property and housebuilding under regulation.
Now they tell us regulation is strangling growth. No shit Sherlock.
But who wrote it?
They now say regulation stopped homes being built.
Who wrote it?
They milked Stamp Duty. Now they want to abolish it.
Home ownership fell dramatically on their watch. Now they have the audacity to tell us they are the party of home ownership.
London was one of the great centres of global finance. By 2024, the UK was down to 20th in the world for IPO fundraising.
One of the greatest financial centres on earth decimated by a Conservative government.
They enshrined Net Zero in law.
Now they want to abolish it, apparently they just realised how damaging it is to our economy. Kemi said countries with expensive energy are poor. Who made our energy expensive?
They allowed the Armed Forces to shrink while the rest of the state grew.
Now they tell us defence is the first duty of government.
Really?
Was it not the first duty of government during the 14 years you were actually the government?
They promised to stop the boats.
They didn’t.
They cut police numbers.
They closed magistrates’ courts.
They hollowed out the justice system.
And while people were being robbed, burgled, stabbed or having their shops emptied, the Conservatives had the audacity to arrest people for tweets.
And then there is immigration.
They promised to control it. Bring it down to tens of thousands.
Instead they gave us the Boris wave, just about 4 million people.
Net migration reached levels Britain had never seen before.
And this is exactly why calling these things “mistakes” doesn’t cut it.
Because you cannot simply reverse years of mass migration.
Some government decisions alter a country for a few years.
The Conservative’s decisions altered Britain for a generation.
Some may have altered it permanently.
And please spare us the “new Conservative Party”. It isn’t.
Kemi Badenoch was a minister.
Chris Philp was a minister.
Andrew Griffith was a minister and the Government’s Net Zero Business Champion.
Claire Coutinho was literally the Net Zero Secretary.
Richard Fuller was a Treasury minister.
Alex Burghart was a minister.
They were making the decisions. They had the power. They were the government.
Governments don’t get to experiment on a country for fourteen years, fundamentally change it, leave behind damaging consequences that could last for generations, change the wording on the leaflet and demand that everyone treats them as the new management.
These weren’t simply “mistakes”. They were deliberate choices.
Choices that changed our economy, our population and the size and reach of the state.
And some of those changes may never be fully undone. That is the arrogance of it.
The belief that you can make decisions of this magnitude, fundamentally change the country, wait for the political wind to turn and then say:
“Sorry. We got it wrong. Trust us to fix it.”
No, you broke Britain and only Reform will fix it.

The Folic Acid scandal has had the unexpected effect of waking us all up to the horrors of MASS PRODUCED industrial food, sold in supermarkets, today!
As we all start studying ingredient lists.
Those long lists of unpronounceable horrors, that read like a Frankenstein shopping list!
We are starting to look at these names & asking "Should I really be putting that in my body!?" & putting the prettily packaged "food" BACK on the shelf!
THIS IS BRILLIANT!
& good people have asked my why "wholemeal" bread & flour now CONTAINS folic acid, when wholemeal flour is supposed to be exempt..
I'm upset when I tell them they have been duped for a long time. & that packet that says "wholemeal" is not 100% wholemeal.. & the law can get away with it.
The producers of wholemeal bread keep their production costs down by using less & less actual wholemeal (which is expensive) & finish their products with WHITE FLOUR to save money.
If it says wholemeal but contains FOLIC put it back!
Equally horrifying is the nostalgic British household names that have now been taken over by FACELESS ASSET MANAGEMENT Companies, who's only care is PROFIT, not health or quality. But KNOW we will buy it for the nostalgic name & the Union flag on the packet.
& these are the companies that are slowly poisoning us, via the Big Supermarkets.
It is also called "Stakeholder Capitalism" & it IS a vile, globalist agenda.
& then we all wonder WHY we are getting, sick & ill?

Well after today’s announcement from the Bank of England, there is something very, very, very wrong in the system... 😡
So … let me get this straight:
* British Gas made a profit of £1.3bn between January & June
* BP announced profits of £6.95 billion between April and June alone
* Shell has profited by £9.4bn in a year
The MEN at the top:
* John Pettigrew, boss of National Grid received £6.5m bonus on top of his salary
* Chris O’Shea, chief executive of British Gas owner Centrica was paid almost £2m last year in salary and benefits
* Centrica's non-executive directors were paid almost £1m
* Scottish Power's CEO Keith Anderson is on £1.15m.
* E.On boss Michael Lewis is on £1m
* EDF's Simone Rossi is also on £1m
* And their top execs enjoyed a share of £4.65m
* Peter Simpson of Anglian Water earned a £1.3m pay package
* Welsh Water bosses awarded themselves bonuses of over £930,000
* Severn Trent bosses awarded themselves bonuses of £5.56m
* Thames Water's Sarah Bentley, received a £727,000 bonus on top of her £2m annual salary
Meanwhile there are...
* People who haven't had breakfast and/or lunch TODAY, because they can't afford it.
* People using FoodBanks because food is becoming more of a luxury than a necessity.
* Children celebrating a birthday without presents.
* Parents worrying about new school uniforms - and some schools enforcing rules which are not cost-effective.
* People who can't get to work because they can't afford to put petrol in their cars/pay for public transport anymore.
* People who are working so much they're making themselves ill, and they STILL CAN'T AFFORD to pay their bills.
* People who have been given fines by these same energy/water companies because they couldn't afford to pay their bills in the first place - increasing their debt.
* Customers being told to do STAR JUMPS TO KEEP WARM for crying out loud!
* Hose pipe bans when gallons of water leak away everyday.
* Elderly people NOT DRINKING because they're worried about running out of water!!!
All this and energy prices are set to rise up to 75% in October...
THIS IS MADNESS!.. I'm all for supporting profits … I'm not for supporting greed at the cost of lives of others.
Something needs to change.
Why is customers' money being used to make life more comfortable for those who are making life more intolerable for the rest of us?
I actually don't understand how the energy companies are allowed to get away with this and why the government aren't stopping them instead of handing out money.....
COPIED AND PASTED FROM OTHERS :
PLEASE KEEP IT GOING SO MORE AND MORE GET TO SEE IT .

British beef, milk, lamb and veg do not arrive by magic. They arrive because someone was up before dawn, walking stock through fields that had already burned brown, calculating whether the winter silage would last, and still making payroll when the harvest came in short.
This year has been one of the hardest in living memory for many of them.
Summer 2026 brought the hottest conditions on record and a prolonged drought. Grass stopped growing. Dairy farms in the West Country and elsewhere had to break open clamps meant for winter and buy in feed; one Wiltshire family put the extra cost above £100,000, plus lost milk yield.
Cereal yields collapsed in the worst-hit areas - wheat down by half on some Gloucestershire farms, spring barley and beans more than 50% lower across parts of the South West.
National figures point to one of the lowest cereal harvests on record, with wheat alone estimated hundreds of millions of pounds down in value and livestock producers facing tens of millions more just to replace missing forage. Straw was scarce. Water for irrigation ran short. Farmers described it as soul-destroying and the hardest summer in a generation.
On top of the weather came disease. Bluetongue (BTV-3) produced the worst season yet, with more than 2,200 cases recorded and the virus reaching further north, including into Scotland for the first time.
Sheep and cattle needed constant checking; fallen-stock costs rose; movement and trading became more complicated. Warmer conditions have helped the midges that spread it.
Money has been tight at the same time. Input costs - feed, fertiliser, energy, fuel - have squeezed margins for years. Recent surveys found 87% of farmers saying those costs significantly hit profitability, more than a quarter reporting a loss or break-even, and many others clearing only 1–5%. Average farm incomes after poor seasons have been low.
Cashflow is described as at crisis point on some holdings: money that should have gone into next year’s seed, fertiliser or replacement stock has already been spent keeping animals fed.
Policy has added another layer. Changes to agricultural and business property relief for inheritance tax, due from April 2026, were partially softened after tractor protests (the full-relief threshold rose to £2.5 million, or higher for couples).
Even so, a Country Land and Business Association survey found nearly nine in ten rural family businesses had paused investment - machinery, reservoirs, diversification - because they still expect bills they cannot meet from cash. Some are deliberately shrinking or devaluing holdings. Asset-rich and cash-poor remains the classic farm problem: land and stock look valuable on paper, yet selling a quarter or more of the farm is what many say would be required to pay the tax. Wider policy uncertainty (schemes, trade, environmental rules) is cited by 86% as damaging their ability to plan.
Only a small minority express confidence that Britain can secure its own food supply long-term; around two in five have questioned whether they will still be farming in a decade.
Trade pressure sits underneath it all.
Cheaper imports produced to different standards continue to set the price, so a short domestic harvest does not automatically mean a better return at the farm gate.
None of this is abstract. It is early starts, late finishes, decisions about which animals to keep and which crops are no longer worth drilling, and families trying to hand something viable to the next generation while the weather, the disease risk and the balance sheet all move against them.
Next time the label says “British”, it is worth remembering the people who produced it - through a drought that halved harvests, a disease outbreak that demanded daily vigilance, and costs and tax rules that have left many wondering how long they can keep going.

More people are waking up to the fact that synthetic folic acid is being added to our everyday flour.
And once it's in the flour, it finds its way into bread, cakes, biscuits and countless other foods.
Supporting healthy pregnancies is absolutely vital. But so is informed choice.
This isn't informed choice. It's mandatory fortification. And nobody asked for our consent.

Yes, but why are fuel prices REALLY high, Prime Minister?
Which is the only country mad enough to be pursuing net zero and buying its oil and gas abroad? 🤯
And pretending that leaves no carbon footprint.
Which is the Government which could slash fuel duty to help people? Instead, it provides some gimmick to help people find the cheapest option - still extortionate compared to prices elsewhere.
Britons deserve better leadership.
I know people are worried about fuel prices. And I get it. You get to the pump, watch the numbers climb, and wonder why it's costing so much more than it used to.
The reality is that global events are pushing up costs, and families here at home are feeling the impact.
But I won't accept that there's nothing I can do to help.
That's why from today, you'll be able to see petrol and diesel prices on Google Maps, compare nearby stations and find the cheapest option before you fill up.
It's a small change, but if there's a practical way to help people keep more money in their pocket, I'll do it.

This footage may be distressing.
Hamas Islamist terrorists didn’t just attack Nova festival on October 7th, thousands of them, and Gazan citizens, flooded into southern Israel, raped, murdered and pillaged small towns across the entire border.
They got 20km in land. It was an invasion.
They kidnapped men, women, babies and the elderly. Burned their houses, shot into safe rooms crowded with innocent people, and threw grenades into bunkers.
The establishment media has only ever focussed on Nova, they don’t want you to know the scale of the terrorist invasion.

They're forcing EVERYONE to consume folic acid in flour (and flour-based foods) to reduce birth defects by about 200/year.
Glaring issues include :
(1) the NHS warns millions against folic acid.
(2) They claim the levels in flour are safe but there are no long term, large scale studies so they aren't sure.
(3) there's a significant risk of exceeding the Recommended Daily Allowance with cereal/toast for breakfast; sandwich for lunch; and pasty/pie for supper.
(4) Public health is littered with examples of finding out later that something thought tolerably safe initially proved later to be harmful. For example the MHRA takes an average of 11 years to withdraw medicines on safety grounds (ie they approved it as safe but evidence later emerged that harms outweighed benefits).
So why take the risk here? Why not simply target pregnant and soon-to-be pregnant women.
