Today marks 79 years since #VEDay, the end of the Second World War in Europe. Join us in remembering the millions of servicemen and women, Allied Forces and those across the Commonwealth, who made great sacrifices for our freedom.
We will never forget their courage.
ALT Black and white image showing a big crowd of men and women parading through the street. Those in the front row have linked arms and they all look happy. Some of the men are dressed in service uniforms whilst others are dressed in suits. The women are also dressed smartly in blouses and skirts. Some people are holding British flags. The mood is celebratory.

So many to choose from - but Nicola Benedetti was a particular highlight. Also memorable the first post lock down concert, very socially distanced, with the London Mozart Players. Not sure who was happier to have live music back, the performers or the audience!

On #InternationalWomenDay2022 it seems appropriate to draw attention to our forthcoming concerts with the brilliant @IsataKm who plays #ClaraSchumann's Piano Concerto with us at @GrayConc 24 March & @stdavidshall 25 March. ♀️🎶🎹♥️
