The Republican congress did nothing. Achieved nothing. Took the mandate they were given and did precisely zero with it. Feckless losers who are relieved to no longer be in the majority. The only thing Republicans do with power is bide their time until they can relinquish it.

There were 20 Million new voter registrations between 2022 and 2024 in 37 states without proof of citizenship requirements
Republicans’ inability to get the SAVE America Act passed was an unforgivable betrayal that could cost us the country
Insane.

I live in a rural county in far Northern California. Most of the state forgets about us unless it’s to call us rednecks, make meth jokes, or flood one of our local state parks in the summer.
In this year of the Republican bloodbath and complete national leadership failure, I noticed that, with most of the votes counted, my county remained basically the same. Roughly R+30 depending on the race or ballot measure. A county of conservatives trapped in the most liberal state in America is now more right wing than the gun-toting, “don’t mess with us” cowboy state of Texas.
As much crap as blue state conservatives are given by red staters, it’s nice to have just a small bit of vindication. Even if our votes here are meaningless on a state and federal level.
Unfortunately, many red states are going to learn what the much maligned “red necks” of my county learned long ago. Being conservative in a blue state brings much pain.

It's actually not normal, but the fact that PBS media is telling you it's normal should actually tell you a lot, shouldn't it
If you go to bed on election night and don't know who won a midterm congressional race, that's normal. And if you wake up the next morning and find that a candidate who was behind hours earlier has since pulled ahead, that's normal, too. (via @PolitiFact) to.pbs.org/4zqnWBa

Working people out there are reaching the boiling point at a pretty large scale. When people collectively start to come unglued it isn’t going to be pretty.
