The #SaveMassEffect tag isnβt trending anymore, and thatβs okay. Trends fade. Movements donβt have to. π
But hereβs something important: there are still a LOT of people who havenβt heard about the petition yet.
I talked to a friend whoβs online constantly and mods for several streamers. He had no idea the petition existed. He thought nobody wanted another Mass Effect without Shepard. When I told him there were hundreds of thousands of signatures, he was genuinely shocked.
If someone that plugged in hadnβt heard, imagine how many fans havenβt. A slowdown doesnβt mean weβve reached everyone who cares. It means we need to reach further.
So keep spreading the word:
π¨οΈ Print posters for game shops, hobby stores, libraries, and community boards (grocery stores, restaurants, sports shops, etc usually have these)!
πͺ§ Make yard signs or signs for your street-facing windows!
π¬ Tell your friends, group chats, and favorite streamers!
π° Go full Grassroots! Put flyers in mailboxes or inside screen doors to get the attention of your neighbors!
πΈ Post pics of your posters with #SaveMassEffect
Every new person who finds out is another signature.
N7s donβt give up. Hold the line. π

I may have worded this clumsily but this is the true heart of what I was trying to say

Play and share what you are passionate about, whatever that is

R.I.P. Patrick Stewart
REMEMBERING PATRICK STEWART
Patrick Stewart, the legendary actor best known for portraying Captain Jean-Luc Picard in βStar Trek: The Next Generationβ and Professor Charles Xavier in the βX-Menβ films, has died at 86.
His family said in a statement: "We announce with great sorrow the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart yesterday at his home in Los Angeles, in the loving care of his beloved wife Sunny, following a brief and poignant journey with Alzheimerβs Disease and Lewy Body Dementia."
"His sonorous voice and singular talent will forever be synonymous with indelible performances in every genre. He explored the human condition in all its poetic complexity and brought hope not only to the far reaches of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but into science fictionβs most iconic final frontier aboard the Starship Enterprise... He will be remembered for the dignity, compassion and humanity he brought to every role - in his art and life."

What to play next?
- Replay some or all of the Mass Effect trilogy?
- Play Witcher 3 for the first time?
- New Cyberpunk content (or a fresh playthrough?)
- Control Resonant
So many choices sat in my TO DO queue right now. π€―
Meanwhile I'm just hanging out with Biddy Blas...

Really congratulations on your Destiny Communityπ , we hope that one day we can write something like this about #SaveMassEffect you deserve it because you fought so hard
Sometimes I donβt realize the magnitude of what happened with Destiny.
Not even a month ago we were certain we forever lost something so profound to so many people, and today weβre getting a continued service update. Just another D2 blog post on a Thursday.
I feel like we cheated the grieving process. We are so fucking lucky, and itβs entirely too easy to forget the hopelessness we lived.
The Destiny IP was deadβ¦ for months. Now itβs just, not. That doesnβt happen, but it did.

RIP TWID/TWAB.
Weekly blogs were ridiculously fun some weeks, insanely challenging on others, but ultimately were not sustainable in serving you.
No more filler for the sake of maintaining a series. Our comms need substance when they come. Some weeks (or even months) we may be quiet outside of general game accounts, but it's all for good reason.
Much love. π
