I know some people are sceptical about the impact of petitions etc. But fan driven campaigns CAN work. I was involved in a successful one a few years back for a Netflix show. They're a long shot with no guarantees, but it is 100% better than doing nothing. #SaveMassEffect
The #SaveMassEffect petition has surpassed 10,000 signatures!
Join the cause and help us save Mass Effect! ❤️

WE ARE 4,5K SIGNS AWAY FROM 290K
We’re getting close to 300K. They’re ANGRY. They will try to divide and silence us.
We MUST stand together and hold the line. No matter what !!
They see and hear us. They don’t like it.
KEEP PUSHING

It's crazy to me that if a studio, gaming TV or whatever decides to cancel production on an IP that they are allowed to let it just sit there. If the studio pull the plug, that IP should be fair game for another to at least bid on. You want to keep it so badly? USE IT.

Somebody's not happy with all the #SaveMassEffect in the comments, huh?
So true! There are awesome folks in the #Starwars fandom who have been so helpful in spreading the word for #SaveMassEffect. Our focus needs to be on EA and the decision makers, not other fandoms.
Remember: The SW fandom are our allies. They've stood by us in this. They know the meaning of long odds
We have but one enemy: Electronic Arts. The higher ups. The owners. The money men
Avoid BF3 if you want--I know I will--but remember to tell friend from foe

Utterly infuriated by this and somehow not surprised in the slightest. #SaveMassEffect must press on! Sign the petition, share it with friends and be sure to let @EA know JUST how strongly we feel about this decision

Development on ‘STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT 3’ has not begun yet.
EA chose to invest in ‘Battlefront 3’ instead of a new ‘Mass Effect’ game and shut down BioWare as a result.

NOT MALEFICENT IN MASS EFFECT 😂 I actually laughed out loud. #SaveMassEffect
I should probably play Andromeda again..Played it at launch, completed it and really enjoyed it but haven't played it since.. Never really felt the same urge to rplay like the trilogy, but now I'm kinda thinking it would be cool to experience it again #SaveMassEffect

Mass Effect Community! This is the power a fanbase can have.
Five months ago, the Destiny community thought they'd never see a new entry in the Destiny Universe again.
Now look at us.

This one was so much tougher than my Mass Effect one! Definitely happy with my top five, and no surprise about last place for me 😂 #DragonAge
It's Friday morning, the sun is out and it feels like another great day to #SaveMassEffect. Sign the petition if you haven't, badger your friends to do the same and keep making noise, and talking about the game. (Don't forget to use the #)

You gotta remember just how much these companies rely on socials and fans for PR/publicity/marketing. PR budgets for games are often large chunks of gamecost overall.
Poisoning their socials/sustained bad publicity is more damning for them than you may realize.
#SaveMassEffect
#SaveMassEffect Utter PR disaster for EA no matter which way this goes. They wanted the BioWare shutdown to be swept under the rug but achieved the opposite. They've gotten a lot of shit (often rightfully so) but I can see this ballooning into their worst ever controversy.
Not far off 280,000! Keep going! #SaveMassEffect

I need people to realize that yes #SaveMassEffect is for mass effect and bioware but saving them would send a message to the gaming world in general

🚨275,000.
Eight days ago, EA closed BioWare and cancelled the next Mass Effect. We were supposed to quietly walk away.
Instead, we showed up, and you started sharing your stories.
Someone who's played ME1 thirteen times.
Someone whose sibling taught them to biotic charge.
Someone who said this series got them out of a really dark place.
So many of you who said the crew feels like family.
And this week, the fans became one too. Strangers trading Garrus stories at 2 AM. Destiny, Expanse and Wuthering Waves fans showing up for a galaxy that isn't even theirs. People who've never met, holding the line together.
Mass Effect taught us you don't leave your crew behind. Not to the Reapers. Not to the odds. Not to a spreadsheet.
The people who built this galaxy deserve to finish their story. 275,000 of us are asking EA to build it, or license it to someone who will.
If this series means something to you, sign, share, let everyone know👇
