HSI AND THE @FBI ARE BRINGING ALLEGED INTERNATIONAL CRIMINALS TO JUSTICE
18 suspects allegedly tied to the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moïse have been transferred to Miami to face federal charges.
HSI will relentlessly pursue threats to our national security and bring them to justice.
Another Voter Fraud arrest right here in South Florida. HSI is working hard to protect voter integrity.
A Haitian national has pleaded guilty to falsely claiming U.S. citizenship on two voter registration forms and illegally casting a ballot in the 2024 General Election. She pleaded guilty to two counts of making a false claim of citizenship in order to vote and one count of voting by an alien, and faces up to five years in federal prison.
Federal election laws will be enforced. Those who deliberately violate them—including by falsely claiming U.S. citizenship and illegally voting—will be investigated and prosecuted.
Today’s arrests represent another major step toward accountability for the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse. HSI Miami remains committed to working alongside our partners to help bring all those responsible to justice.
HSI Miami and @HSTaskForce partners worked together to help secure Alex Saab's guilty plea and his agreement to forfeit $195million. Our coordinated efforts to investigate foreign corruption and purse accountability continue.
