Families of former Iranian conscripts are outside IRCC and CBSA offices, speaking for thousands across Canada who disclosed their conscription honestly and transparently—yet face inadmissibility findings that affect their entire families including minor children. Evidence from affected families shows that conscription alone is being treated as IRGC membership, despite previous assurances from the government. Our request is simple: meet with IRCC senior decision-makers, explain how these cases are assessed, and listen to affected families. Canada must have clear guidelines that distinguishes forced conscripts from voluntary IRGC members.
