We wanted to march through Tottenham where our Public Meeting took place in May 1983. A meeting that resulted in Albert Mariner's death. A meeting where Haringey Labour Party organised a 'protest' which resulted in c.600 + predominantly black youths (& Reds) attacking our tiny column of 45 Nationalists. We defended ourselves against the odds..🎖
When we marched in July we had c.700 Nationalists & after bans applied in Tottenham & Islington we ended up in 'neutral' Victoria. Disappointed! 🤨.

On Saturday, 25th July, Patriotic Alternative Scotland attended the Glasgow Green demo in Glasgow.
Leaflets were distributed to the public, and one of our colleagues delivered a speech at the demonstration. As @J_A_Fernie said during his speech, "White Lives Must Matter".

'Albert Mariner Memorial March' Thursday 3rd May 1984 - Central London. One year after Albert's death. He received his injuries after Haringey Labour Party 'invited' a mob to attack us at our public election meeting for our candidate in Tottenham.
Tuesday 3rd May 1983. Police told us to its "best to go home". MW said no and we made our way to the meeting. We had two head counts; 45 of us, some girls and OAPs i.e. Albert.
The mob that immediately attacked us was at least 600 strong, mainly Afro-Caribbean youths (who had, so far zero interest in our campaign). They were wound up by an inflammatory leaflet the local Labour party put out. Individual police officers acted with considerable bravery despite their senior officers incompetence.😮.
People can say what they like about Britain Nationalism but that night exemplified our sheer physical & psychological courage as we resisted wave after wave of attack. Ordinary people. Little people. 'People like us who deserve to win'.🥇.
The same blood that rose out of the trenches C.1916 resides in all of us. Still.
