The poll shows three things which confounds the establishment and the nationalist commentariat:
Firstly, unionism is swinging towards strength not weakness. There is a desire for nationalism to be faced down, and for there to be proper a fight back. Unionism will be second class citizens no more.
Secondly, how many times were we told by the establishment (and even some in big house unionism) that Drumcree had no support? That has been confounded, with unionism firmly behind the Orangemen of Portadown.
Thirdly, Twitter (X) isn’t real. It is overwhelmingly nationalist and via bots & orchestrated trolling tries to skew public perception.
Nationalism wanted a culture war, now they’ve got one.
The days of nationalist supremacy are over and they aren’t coming back.
