It’s been great watching the assets come in. The images you’re creating are doing a great job of telling your game’s story.
Starting October 22, the new Discover image assets will be required to publish or update an island. This will make sure every island is set up to take advantage of the new redesigned surfaces in Discover.
Reminder: Adding these new asset types to your island is still required for the new placements, including the hero carousel, Top 10, and Epic’s Picks starting October 15.
We're excited to finally share some more news on our next iteration of Discover.
Starting October 15, we’ll begin rolling out a redesigned Discover that gives players more info about your game at a glance. This includes autoplay video, a cleaner logo treatment, new tile shapes, and more.
You can upload new asset types in the Creator Portal, which are required to take advantage of the new rows and placements.

I still see so many creators publish without Analytics devices.
They’re one of the most important things you can set up. Track where players leave, what they use, and what they ignore.
Set them up right and your players will show you exactly what needs work.
Today we're shipping the first batch in a series of updates to Like, Save, and Follow. Players can now like, dislike, save, and follow from the in-game Overview tab, so they can follow you while they're still playing. Exit flow controls are clearer and easier to use too.
Up next—like and dislike on island details pages, like percentages on tiles, and more ways for players to save and follow. Still more to come here.

We're currently rolling out personalized ranking within genre rows in Discover. Over the next few days, players will begin to see islands ranked based on their interests and play history, even within the same genre.

Epic Games just announced the BIGGIEST CHANGES to Fortnite Discover in a while, and the first piece ships TOMORROW!
tl;dr
❤️🔥 1. Starting August 5, Epic will tell you when your island isn't eligible for Discover.
❤️🔥 2. Discover is now personalized INSIDE the rows, not just across them.
❤️🔥 3. The Updated row is being removed. An "Updated" badge replaces it.
❤️🔥 4. Still to come: richer social proof on tiles, a like-percentage shown alongside CCU, and a redesign that puts Discover upfront in the player experience.

I built Island IQ because I wanted CCU on my iPhone Home Screen, Lock Screen, and Apple Watch, not buried in a browser tab.
It pulls island metrics exclusively from the @FNCreate Fortnite API. No login. No backend.
