yes but it doesn't change the fact that getting an actor who not only looks like Bruce Wayne but understands him is a generational gift lmao
Patrick Stewart was one of those legends you think will always be around. His impact will never not be defining. Truy a sad day.

Man, tbh i had some problems with the overall plot here too, but what struck me the most was John and Hal's personal journey. Somehow two very different characters were able to represent so much for me and OF me. And somehow you, Alex, encapsulated that so perfectly. I loved this

It seems that the popular opinion (at least on here) is to hate everything about Lanterns.
Well, there’s a reason I got shoved into lockers back in the day.
Yeah, I Loved Lanterns

I think physically he's not right (not that it ever stopped half the Batmen from giving good performances) but acting and voice wise he's great.
hey thank you for the love and support!
you're totally correct, in the early days I was a much angrier brat and now I came at everything really trying to like and understand it.
thanks again :)

Watched this last night on Patreon, and as always from HiTop it was an excellent and artistic dissection into a piece of narrative media.
One of the reasons I’ll always respect Alex’s view on stories even when I don’t agree with them is because he comes at them from the perspective of a storyteller and filmmaker himself. You can tell he’s grown a lot from his earlier days on YouTube where he acted way more like people today act on this app when all we do is consume. You naturally have a different outlook on things once you yourself have underwent the creative process. You’re able to appreciate things more and are willing to listen to what the artist is trying to say, even if you’re ultimately in disagreement with it in the end.
These are the kinds of nuances I want to engage in more rather than absolutes.

the joke wasn't original the first time it was made by the first dozen goofballs, but god damn I fucking wish.
Which would you click?
