Our local bishop is banning the St Michael prayer from the end of Mass.
His article, in the local Catholic paper, explains that in order to celebrate the liturgy βin accordance with the mind of the Churchβ priests need to βcatechize the people of God as we move away from additional prayers recited together immediately before, during, and immediately after Mass.β

I never really held a special spot in my heart for Chesterton until I read his biography on St.Francis. it's not a good biography on St.Francis, but he states directly in the first chapter that the Fioretti already exists so that's not why he's making it. Instead it's a love letter to the Patron of Catholic Action.
