A farmer who's taken our AI course has a older dryer with an auto mode that no longer works.
He's felt like they have simply made educated guesses over the years when making setting changes. They haven't had much confidence in them.
So he used AI to build a model to predict the moisture output based on current weather, input, and settings.
These graphs show how his model has performed vs. his samples. Pretty good imo!

We will be running a couple more cohorts of this course this winter.

Had AI pull the entire X9 1100 parts catalog: 42,184 lines, 9,562 part numbers, every diagram and price. It then built me a phone app to browse it.
Then I said build me a cool “matrix” themed visualization of all the part numbers! Crazy.

We have a 2027 8RX 490 to demo, but it’s been raining every damn day. Is that going to stop us? C’mon son. She shines in the schmud. #kibbleequipment

Farmers helping farmers. Growers across our #HillsboroFactory district harvested more than 420 acres of sugarbeets Wednesday for fellow grower Bill Cotton, who is fighting stage 4 brain cancer. Around 80 trucks, 14 harvesters, and 11 toppers showed up. #Harvest26

Here's my cousin Chris @Horob's kick-ass AI-enabled project he just posted in the Fullstack Ag forum.
He placed temperature and humidity sensors in a number of random locations across his property that didn't have good internet access.
But these sensors are Bluetooth-enabled, so he was able to build a simple mobile app to log the readings when when he or his family are in the buildings.
It's fun what a curious mind can build these days!

Mike and I are taking Nick Horab's Fullstack AI basics course. This morning I had Claud Co-Work calculate my expected 2025 ARC payment. The interesting part of this was how it iterated back to me when it needed more data.
Like our Agris Academy Merchandising and Risk Management course this course start from zero knowledge and builds. The first class plus prework has been great. No, this was not a paid ad.

One of the @Farm4ProfitLLC team (a non-developer) participated in our AI on Your Farm course and built them a kick-ass mobile app!
Will be officially launching later this week.

Fun little project. Downloaded the USDA yield editor source code, had Claude rebuild and automate it. Now anytime I load a new harvest file into SMS, it gets sent to a Dropbox folder, then to the yield editor, and finally to my GK folder with the finalized and cleaned yield and moisture data.

Pretty cool technology on the new @JohnDeere combines. Auto grain cart filling automation. Moves the grain cart on its own.

Tomorrow, 9 AM CT: (free) office hours with Jaryd.
He's demoing a merchandising agent he built for Stabo, a local Scandinavian retailer, that will help them decide what to buy and how to sell it. It's one of the most practical agentic workflows I've seen, and I expect it to be worth six figures to them over the next few years.
After the demo, he'll take any question you have about AI in business, from total beginner to advanced app development.
DM me and I'll send you the link.

I’m going to be giving this underlying data away to the Fullstack Ag community.
That way, people can build their own applications on top of it, add proprietary data sources, and modify it however they see fit.
If you have a spare few minutes today, you should ask this application some chemical questions. DM me your thoughts on its replies.
Answers come from regional crop-protection guides for OH, IN, IL, MO, ND, KS, AR, MS, NC, KY, MI, WI, MB, and ON.
It performs well against a pretty extensive eval I put together, but as always, follow the label.

I've been working on a new venture for awhile now...
Building Harvest Profit changed the way I felt about work. I want more people to experience that without facing the technical barrier I did.
Whether it's starting a new business, improving one, or simply making your day-to-day job more fun, the technology exists to make it all happen.
I've partnered with two of the best developers I've ever worked with, Jaryd Krishnan and Brian Pattison, to launch an ongoing set of workshops along with building some free software tools (more to come on that) to help others become as excited about their work as I experienced.
Learn more about our mission below.

That time @Chris_Hawkey drove a John Deere 9RX 710 tractor and we recreated Litterbox’s cover of Faithfully. Always a blast at @vickis_cc_jam and remember: using the seat massager with someone else in the cab is only weird if you make it weird.
